Game being set in japan means the game is silent Hill in name only. Silent Hill should always be in America since that's where its located.

Or better yet, just play Fatal Frame 3. Basically the closest thing to Japanese Silent Hill besides maybe Siren.New f trailer
The more they show the worse it looks. The dub is awful and the dialogue sounds really stupid. I didn't have high hopes or anything but I was curious about it, though now I'm probably just going to watch a playthrough instead of getting it.
I am so deathly tired of people redoing the SH2 story again and again.
I am so depressed.
I am so depressed.

Uhhh did Japan ever have a sexual revolution?

You don't hate zog media enough. Where is Yamaguchi with his commie-killing blade when you need him?
I wonder which HollyHacks they'll get for it? Revelation had a decrepit Malcom McDowell (who usually needs some poor semitic sex slave to be forced to do a nude bath scene with his wrinkly ass in order to be motivated to come out of the crypt) and an over-the-hill Sean Bean.I never liked the first movie and honestly I’m proud of that. SH fans deserve everything that happens to them. Gans dropped a dogshit flick with some fog machines and these finooks were glazing him like Kubrick, bragging “uh actually it was the 9th highest grossing video game adaptation!”
Incredible. And of course they’ll line up for the new one, because in their heads this is still the best shot "games" have at being "movies.” Absolute lemmings.
what the fuck is this shit. i wanted to play this thingOh boy.
Hinako Shimizu's arc in Silent Hill f is shaped by the Japanese women's rights movement of the 1960s and depicts 'how she musters the courage to combat' repression she encounters
Konami is a terrible company and you shouldn't give them money, being woke is the least of their problems.I just wrote about this in the Metal Gear thread and how Konami is woke and you shouldn't give them money. I find it hilarious, can't wait for the excuses kiwifarmers make to justify buying this game.
If at this point you still expect non-woke games from big game studios, you ngmi.
I haven't read the article, but It's pc gamer so i'd take it with a grain of salt. Edit; I've got back from reading it, the article seems to derive it's title from this excerpt supposedly said by Motoi Okamoto, who apparently worked on and co-wrote that really shitty silent hill what ever the fuck this is game that came out a year back. My hope for this game has sunken even lower than before. Given the games he's worked on it could be another Jap who drank the kool-aid along with daisuke(RIP) and that visual novel developer guy who's name eludes me.
Modern Konami's attempts at getting back into the game industy are pathetic. They fired and kicked out everyone who's worth a damn almost 20 years ago. All these attempts to get back in are just outsourcing their licenses to rando's who ask. They have no real talent left and all these companies don't really care about these franchises, they just want to use the name recognition as a spring board for their own career.Konami is a terrible company and you shouldn't give them money, being woke is the least of their problems.
4’s biggest problem is it’s questionable level design, particularly the game forcing you to go through the same levels twice for some reason. Other than that the game is scary as hell, possibly the scariest in the series, and the story is debatably the best as well. At the very least in terms of the games that focus on the cult. Silent Hill 2 is still up there in writing.Even with 4 being a black sheep it accomplished far more as a sequel than most game franchises, it's no RE4 but it expanded the cult and the story of Walter (especially Bad ending route) is enthralling compared to the endless dogshit we have been served after Team Silent were disbanded.
