He claims it's to help his wife and his mother. A (in my opinion) more likely theory is he's going to fake suicide and use it to buy more drugs.

I'm surprised some shitty warehouse in the middle of Ohio, I'm sure, even cares. I'm guessing it was the bit about him making fun of Asa's daughter that did him in if it actually happened.
