That is my read of the situation too. But then again, Rob is the ultimate unreliable narrator. Anything he tells you about his life, good or bad, could be a total lie. The idea that the boss fired him just because of the Mutahar video sounds like a lie, from top to bottom. Which scenario is more likely? He got fired over a youtube video or he failed a drug test? Also, I was under the impression he lost his job well before the Mutahar video came out. And here is one more hole in the story. If Rob really did lose his job because of his youtube antics, why the fuck is he still going live? If this was really such a danger to his livelihood, wouldn't he just stop? I can't stress this enough. Rob never learned this basic lesson. Don't create unnecessary drama and conflict. When you create needless drama, conflict, negativity and enemies, you invite disaster into your life.
