Rob had mentioned these books on FDU a couple of times when fans brought them up. From what I recall, Sebastian did some indian transcribing of Rob's videos. Mostly his Silent Rob Chronicles. I would like to read one of these, but from what I know they've only been physically released. Someone on FDU did buy all the Rob books.

I remember Rob had said something on FDU like "Fuck this guy. He didn't pay me for any of it." Probably one of those things where Rob gave the guy the blessing to do it and then later forgot he did.

The Sebastian Schug guy just seems like a garden variety autist with a fixation on films and creepy pasta. Herobrine, sonic.exe, backrooms type shit. When I checked out his interviews and some of his content on youtube, I could not find a clear link to Silent Rob. What did he see in Rob? Does Sebastian know the current state of his former idol?

The difference is that Arthur faced his nerves and went out there and made a fool out of himself in front of the crowd. Rob, who has promised a "stand up routine" for years, has never delivered.

It will never happen, either. Rob grew up as the funny man - cracking jokes in class and being the class clown. He has put himself into a box and he has this idea that he's some sort of comedic genius. If he were to go up on stage and bomb, which would be the most likely outcome, it would shatter this self-image and destroy his ego. Worse yet, what if he got heckled? He can do videos online and tune out criticism, (which he struggles with already) but trying to win over a live audience is a whole different ball game.

Imagine him crashing out on stage Michael Richards style lol

He used to talk about how he was going to try some open mic night and just tell stories about fucking some ghetto craiglist bitches or something. No preparation or script like his channel. I used to think Rob was capable of humility and self-awareness. There were moments in his channel history where he actually tried to produce something that wasn't just a stream or close up of his fucking nose hairs on the couch. I think there was a glimmer of that old effort trying to come out with Death Date, but he was too far gone by that point.

Still waiting on that mockumentary / autobiography. Any day now.

Pre-drug addicted Rob I think could pull it off. There were times he was legitimately funny. Maybe not for an hour, but a 5 minute routine, he could've done it well.

Post-drug. Never. He still discusses things like old games relatively well. He's just too broken to be funny now.

Although they’ve been ruined by his current antics I thought the skit videos like Weird Walks were pretty hilarious.

Could have just been one of his fent induced monologues but Rob admitted before blowing up FDU he hates doing comedy shtick and used it growing up to cope with social anxiety. The excuse though that people who know him through his channel and then meet in real life don’t like him because he’s not the Silent Rob character over time has been revealed as another one of his many lies, since every bridge he ended up burning was for a myriad of other reasons. Nobody was even asking for Silent Rob Chronicles anyways the 2012 era was much more entertaining when Rob wasn’t trying to posture as some badass and just had his opinions on shit and streamed with an occasional skit.

What's weird about this lie about no-one liking him because he wasn't the Silent Rob character IRL is that it's easily disproven. Thao and his brother chilled with Rob without the pretense of him being a character. David and Asa flew him out to Phoenix without expecting anything in return. No one shed a tear when he stopped the chronicles, because they understood he was done with the bit.

People were throwing fists full of cash at him just to stream roms or fire up minimal effort streams on his PS4. They were low-key comfy streams and the comedy came from interacting with chats , talking games and the occasional off-screen drama he'd bring up. When he decided that wasn't enough, he would bring more of his drama for fuel or get insecure then demand more money & things from his audience. Rob's biggest obstacle has always been his insecurity. He could have just apologized, left the Internet for a year and resurfaced with a fractured audience, but some dedicated Joe Savages among them would be waiting.

But his insecurities caused him to create more socks to fight the trolls, call everyone liars, blame Anni for everything, stream from his new job and "show off" the poor neurodivergent they/them he conned into being on camera. Rob was destined to become a lolcow. There is no redemption path for him. We must bear witness and warm ourselves by the trash fire of his life now.

  • Rob claims he put Jack Black in jail because she was a psychopath. He didn't elaborate further, but he may have to appear in court against her. (If anyone wants to dig into this further, I believe the girl's name was Justine. Rob's word is always a half-truth.)
  • He is in a relationship with another woman (Krystal?) that he drove to Kentucky to see.
  • He says his new bitch is legally blind, extremely near-sighted. Also has plans to shove her into a stream.
  • Claims he's only paywalling his twitch content so "two insane people" can't watch. (We can, for free)
  • Rob stated that he wants to start another YouTube channel under the Face Destroyers United branding, but he wants his one fan to get the page started for him. (How the fuck is that going to work out?)
  • Rob also demands his remaining fan to create a Discord for him.
  • Rob sold his Steam Deck and "regrets it".
  • In the same breath, Rob begs for another PS5.
  • Someone in his chat asks Rob if a "used" PS5 would be okay and he lights up. (I think they were fucking with him.)
  • Rob whines about Anni again saying how "we're not even divorced" and how he's butthurt about how she's ghosting him.
  • Rob says one of the most retarded things ever "I gave Anni everything. I proposed to her on Mario Maker. I brought her on streams. Made her apart of the family."
  • Copes by saying he didn't even want a house and he's fine just living in his Dad's attic.
  • Rob immediately launches in to how he defended her against her parents by yelling at Anni's Dad, how he saved her life from tampon disease and how she was a terrible parent that had her kids forcibly removed. Moans about how he knew she was cheating on him the entire time and that's why he acted up ( AI CP, stealing switch games from Huber Music & Video, doxing himself, faking a swatting, photoshopping Jedite, etc.)
  • Says it's the worst year of his life, how he was close to ending it and how he misses his Mom.
  • Puts his blind girlfriend on the phone and she doesn't want to talk.
  • Gotta go guys. I need to eat. I'll stream later.

Rob's mental capabilities are getting worse by the day. Not that long ago, he at least tried to stream games on Twitch, but even that seems to be beyond him now if he can't even be bothered to set up his own channel or Discord.

Not sure about how Discord servers work but it takes no effort to even set up a YouTube page. You just register a Gmail account and you're good to go. He can't even be bothered to do that? He expects people to pay to him to not only have the privilege of viewing his content but also to set up shit for him? What is he Gene Simmons asking people to pay him 10 grand to be his personal roadie helping him out on tours and shit? This dude is beyond fried if he can't even spend 5 minutes setting up a YouTube page and getting a game stream set up. Just pack it up, you druggie retard. Clearly your heart ain't in it anymore.
