My Dearest Fellow Kiwis,
I thought I'd ask you if you could help out senile old pal ShittyRecolor. I remember seeing a video of this one game but I just can't remember what it was called. Even my sick ass Googling skills have failed me!
I think it was a recentish (2012-2015) indie side-scrolling platform\rpg controlling a somehwat Little Prince-esque girl (red headed I think) chasing a spirit (or the mouse cursor was the spirit, not sure) in a fairy tale\folklore inspired setting. the main gameplay seemed to be like a platforming 2d metroidvania type deal, but the battles themselves were turn based and took place on a separate battle screen á la early Final Fantasy titles. I seem to recall the art style being similar to Ori and the Blind Forest (but with more greens, browns and yellows instead of whites and blues), and it might've had the kind of story that starts out all whimsical but puts you on a one way ride to Feels City.
