Looks like his face in that Warhol-esque pop art on the wall behind the fag at around 50 seconds in, and then another that is definitely him—without any pop conversion—as he leaves the house seven seconds later.

There's also a flier for his patio furniture on the wall, for FREE, in the very next scene.

I read this and felt it was very carefully curated to incept the idea that it was a bunch of backward WASPs who swung the hammer down on the hapless innocent gays. Some more sleuthing to find that the person who spearheaded this version of the events is William E. Jones, a gay filmmaker that published a 2008 film "Tearoom" which shows unadulterated footage from the police surveillance operation of the bathroom. As a side note, he appears to have gotten his start in film by editing vintage porn. He's written and spoken many times about this incident, as Tearoom is his magnum opus.

That article (by some local) was written in 2019, which is about the apex of degeneracy infiltrating the discourse, so it makes sense that it so plaintively appeals to the poor homosexual's plight, but William E. Jones had already poisoned the well by then. Two previous films incorporating themes from Mansfield had been made before-- "The Child Molester" (1964) and "Camera Surveillance" (1964), two shorts based off of/incorporate footage from Mansfield respectively. The film "Camera Surveillance" was an instructional short to disseminate information about how cameras can be used in police investigations-- also what galvanized Jones into creating "Tearoom", as he considered it to be very insulting to docile and 'innocent' gays like himself. "The Child Molester" is more straightforward that it is a dramatization of what happened, made by the Ohio Highway Safety Patrol, about a man luring children and eventually killing one. At the end, still photos of the actual crime scene were shown, with a warning about how real it is. This one was intended to be shown to wider audiences to inform.

ETA I totally forgot to mention, the reason police got involved is because a teenage queer flashed his genitals at some young girls then murdered them.

Jones, not complacent with Mansfield being merely a footnote of history on how gay people do gross things, decided he would clear their name by releasing tearoom-- 56 minutes of gay men performing anonymous godless and joyless sodomy in a public park's toilet stall. Reputation restored!

Releasing this at a film festival in 2008, he proceeded to write about how the police were amateurs conducting a misinformed witch hunt-- hence the title, "Witch Hunt at Amateur Hour" of this article. Within, he describes much of the same white-washed history above, glossing over the murder, and if anything glorifying anonymous extramarital faggotry. He even insinuates the officers who undertook the surveillance were gay themselves absent evidence, because he is a rectum-lapper who believes all of society is as degenerate at he is.

This article (I didn't read this one to completion because it is really fucking long and due to recent events I am cautious about doing Indian things like outsourcing all my thinking to AI) he talks about the wonders of sodomy, miscegenation, and prostitution, especially about how well-to-do white conservatives just LOVE "pay[ing] a young black hustler for a blowjob". Also, he reveals that the surveillance only ever stopped after three weeks because, you guessed it: THE GAYS TRIED MOLESTING TWO YOUNG BOYS! :drink:

"The detail ran for about three weeks and was stopped when Spog had to come out of the passageway and grab a guy who started to mess around with two young boys who were playing in the restroom. The restrooms were closed after this investigation and later were filled in with dirt. Of the 70 men arrested, 69 were convicted and went to the Ohio State Penitentiary. One colored man was found not guilty as the film did not show his facial features clearly."

It turns out another journalist decided perhaps we should actually include some information about why police got involved in the first place--A WOMAN, NOT A FAGGOT DEGENERATE, BY THE WAY-- Jones had been mute about the initial slaying of two young girls (9 and 7 years old) by 18 year old Jerrel R Howell. Howell lured them to a secluded location, revealed his genitals and when they ran, brutally stomped them to death. His interrogation that night (he wasn't particularly clandestine) revealed the location where he "sucked his first penis", the underground bathrooms, prodding the investigation.

For the racists-- it turns out 3 days after the guilty plea from Howell, another man Lester Eubanks attempted rape on a 14 year old girl, shot her dead, and in a homage to Howell, crushed her head with a brick. This is after the 22 year old Eubanks was out on bond... FOR THE RAPE OF A 12 YEAR OLD GIRL WHEN HE WAS 16. Also, after only 7 years in jail he escaped. Lester Eubanks, free at last free at last!

What's funny is, prior to me writing and doing all this reading and writing, of which took me about an hour-- I was going to even ask "why is Sillypoo going on about gay pervs so much... it's gross, but it's just guys being fags being dudes". Now... Semper fucking Fi.
