It is a tragedy that this dude is a furry with the last name Hopps and he didn't make a fucking rabbit fursona.

It's really funny when people slap on wings to random animals which really wouldn't be compatible with having such IRL. I know it's trying to be more unique but the overall hollow skeletal structure and physiology of birds (and bats and certain squirrels/snakes too) is what makes them able to fly and fly well. Man tried to fly once (without machines mind you). Look how well that turned out.

I get the feeling that if he grew up with Zootopia instead of The Lion King, he wouldn't change his name and instead claim to be Judy's long lost brother.

I didn't hear him mention Care Bears at all, but yeah, he was into the Lion King. I never heard him say he thought he actually WAS Simba either, I guess that came later. At the time I thought, okay he likes Disney, that's kind of cute.

He wanted it to be an open relationship, I tried but wasn't comfortable with it, so he broke it off. I'm embarrassed when I think back how sad I was about it at the time.

He had pictures of himself as a lion drawn by other artists. I thought it was harmless; I was a naive teenager.
