Play stupid games win stupid prizes I guess.

I wont be celebrating his death. This will be my first and last post on this thread. I do hope that his parents and his friends (being who they might be) and his relatives are able to recover from this. Regardless of what he was, I'm sure he was still loved.

Why doesn't the banner say "SIMBA LION IS FUCKING DEAD"? My disappointment is palpable.
Other than being sedated for several successful surgeries, Simba was awake and well, with many visitors/family at the hospital. It was only the last few days, after Thanksgiving, when he developed sepsis and had heart failure. During the last week in ICU he drew, wrote and had a peaceful time. The ICU staff was really good to him. His funeral will be on Friday in Michigan.
I almost feel a little bad for him. I just imagine him drawing & coloring in bed like the eternal child he wished he could be, everybody doting on him & happy his condition is improving despite the fact that he's a deranged lunatic who shot two cops, & then suddenly his condition deteriorates & a few days later he's dead.

I mean, I'm sure several weeks in the hospital wasn't as "nice" as I'm imagining. But suddenly dying after surviving multiple surgeries & seemingly on the road to recovery, up & doing things & thinking you're gonna be okay---God, how fucking depressing. You'd have been better off falling into a coma & never waking up in the first place.

Breaking! Photo of the two cops who shot him just got released

So it wasn't the bullets that killed him, but rather the sepsis that set in after...

I can't imagine he was comfortable in those last few days, septicemia is not something you'd ever want to get. Pathogens use the bloodstream to wreck havoc and when the kidneys go, so does communication to bone marrow and they stop producing red blood cells. Now you can't replace the ones you've lost and your blood pressure starts to crash...

I am pretty interested on why he had to have several surgeries. Like yeah, a middle aged guy got shot multiple times, but the surgeon didn't open him up to pluck out one bullet each time, right? Medical malpractice arc when?
...Or he simply went septic because he was a gross, unhygienic furfag and the bacteria on his skin just leaked into his wounds.

Pressing F.

most likely the bullets perforated his bowels or intestines. The surgeons had to go back in to hunt down bleeds. The sepsis would almost be a given at that point.

I've heard it's sometimes better to just leave bullets in a person since the complications from removing them can outweigh just leaving them there. Also the surgeries might've been for other things, like to replace any shattered or cracked bones from the ballistic trauma with metal rods or something.

Equally likely tbh.
