I showed the Saeko redesign to someone who usually approves of sjw-ish stuff, and even their reaction was "that's not the same character, just someone with same hair color."

Words literally cannot describe how much I fucking despise the SJWs' hatred of fanservice and anything and everything sexy,
It's like as polar opposite from me as you can possibly get, taking the sex appeal out of female character is like kicking a puppy, it's cruel and you'd have to be sick in the head to do it.

While prudery can be a challenge in the "How can I make it stand out regardless," department, I don't see any of the redesigns even attempting it. Just cutting out anything remotely feminine isn't the way to go about it.

The fandom was always something hideous, and i think it's making a comeback for some reason. Tbh i always thought the creepypasta stories were pretty bland and cliche.

I had to comment on these two specifically, so I’m sorry for sperging, but...
The thing with Korrasami is, in true Tumblr fashion, both characters are bisexual in the show but as soon as they became a couple everyone started screaming “omg lesbians!!1” The drawing is okay enough for a lazy doodle (the colouring is shit and it’s sketchy as hell but it’s not the worst in terms of anatomy and pose), but the artist plastered a giant lesbian flag in the background, and then slapped a Google image bisexual flag off to the side there to pacify anyone who might complain. It’s totally out of place and stuck there, it’s making me laugh.
I didn’t even realize that was supposed to be Natsuki either (I guess the hair is the same but I didn’t pay that much attention). Seriously, people have been making jokes about her being a trap because of her flat chest and apparently attempting to look overly feminine. I feel like headcanoning her as trans for those reasons is downright offensive, but then again, when has that ever stopped Tumblr?

Plenty of anti-authoritarians into the 00s, except maybe for the boneheads and some deluded Reds. I'd think kindness is inversely proportional to demands for it.
The nicest thing I can say about those buttons is that they all translate to "I'm a wanker, please punch me."
It's the same sort of concrete thinking
that leads these people to list identity labels on their fan art, slap Pride! flags on everything, declare their pronouns, or decide that having one or two "gender-nonconforming" interests makes them enbies and eggs. Note that none of these things involves facial recognition or culturally-appropriate body language, and you'll never see them at a live show.

We already know they are nuttier than a herd of goats, so there you have it. But their active opposition against it and taking gigantic efforts to kill fanservice is truly disturbing. Remember than when a normal person doesn't like anything, they will just stop consuming it, but these people will not only do that, but ruin it for everyone that likes it too.

Yeah, it's horrifying, I pray there's never a time in actual video games where it gets that bad.
