These aren't as bad as they could be, but this one artist that's always on my dash consistently draws Princess Peach brown-skinned with zero explanation. She draws other vidya characters, but all the blonde women become inexplicably brown-skinned. This doesn't happen to light-skinned male characters, just women.

#transmascartists is currently trending on Twitter, so I took a peek, and oh my god, a lot of their works are hideous*

> he/him
> obviously a woman
Okay, madam.

*Although, there's no shortage of "transmasc" (seriously, what the eff does that even mean?) artists who are pretty competent, and their artworks aren't painful to look at.

Not gonna lie, it's kinda saddening to see these women TRUE AND HONEST MEN wrecking their appearances and revolving their identities around grotesque caricatures of a sexually confused... human... thing.
The last image of the first spoiler image set made me thunk. What’s the point of exclusively having anal as a FtM if you don’t even have a prostate? It’s not gonna be the same, and you can’t fully experience those yaoi fantasies either. If you wanna be on the receiving end of a dominant male just... be... yourself and don’t transition??
All that effort just to reduce your dating pool to zero. :lit:

(yeah obvs cis women can like anal. my point is mainly due to FtMs exclusively having anal sex because “mUh DySpHoRiA”)

the chicka drawing isn’t really bad

@KillerStrategy I kind of like this one. I'll try to get more content for this thread soon, I've seen some for sure. Since I don't know the source material, the only thing I can think of for this is: "Looks huggable."

Again, not familiar with the source material.

This would be the original design
external-content.duckduckgo.com.png

The redesign looks close to nothing like her, aside from her hair color and nurse-like attire.
While I think the redesign isn't an awful design on it's own, it's bad in relation to who the character is originally. (Also because of the transfem nonbinary label tacked on to it.)

Yeah, the Chica one isn't so bad. That one probably makes the most sense out of all of them. Like I said, the art really isn't as bad as it could be; they actually know how to draw and aren't on a one-man mission to draw the ugliest homunculi possible like most of the artists in this thread.

It was just the inexplicable darkening of these lily-white characters that struck me funny for weeks until I posted it here.

None of the drawings are, it’s just really bizarre why the artist PoC-washes all the white characters. It’s almost like a fetish. (Same can prob be said about a lot of tumblr PoC-, trans-, and ugly-washing...)
In all honesty, nothing makes me roll my eyes more is a fusion of all three with a slapped on shitty meme or "trans rights".

It is a fetish. All of those are fetishes to this crowd and they are either in denial or are too stupid to realize it. A good chunk of them say “don’t tag this as a fetish thing” or whatever. If that has to be done it is, one hundred percent no doubt, a fetish.

Brownwashing lighter skinned characters is when your shitty brown OCs don't get enough attention so you put your brown fetish on to characters who are not just to feel good about yourself and get that sweet sweet woketard clout.
fuck the people who headcanon a character as Filipino and have the audacity to draw them like disgusting shit, we don't look like that you asshole.

Also it's fucking insulting to the original artist when you try to say your version is superior to the original. Why call yourself a fan if you can't even respect the authors works/vision? Go and make your own shit then you untalented hack.
I don't give a shit about your whiny bitching about representation, if you're that insecure about your ethnicity and skin color that you have to change characters skin and look to look like yourself is fucking pathetic.

That's what bugs me the most about these redesigns, 9/10 times they look racist as hell and everyone still praises it like they've done something great for minorities.

Most of the time, the people who do this kind of stuff are white, as well. They just have a fetish for particular minorities.

I nearly typed up a novel replying to this but the abridged version is that they don't care about you because you're not agreeing with them so you won't be an asset for their politics.

Funny you should say, "characters that look like yourself" because I'm not sure if it's just me and I'm not normal but I don't want to see myself in media. I'm an Average Jo and not all that exciting, that'll be a boring protagonist. Why would you want an average brunette woman in the lead? I want to empathise with characters, sometimes sympathise when a character goes through strife that hits too close to home, cry when a good character dies, watch characters fight and oogle at hot guys...sex sells bruh. I don't care too much what you look like, just don't look like a slob or just be a cute animal to avoid trouble. I know a lot of people put politics on animals anyways but the normies that don't project race ideology onto animals vastly outnumber the former.

Just had a thought: Why do mastectomy scars get depicted but not scars of post transmen? I challenge anyone to find at least one picture with post-op scars on the arms, legs or wherever you take the flesh from.

I second this but also, why is there no NSFW art depicting post-op trans bodies as an attempt to normalize the SRS procedure? I have seen art of enlarged clitorises of FtMs but not really much else concerning post-op bodies. Maybe because the trans fetish art mainly concerns the transition itself and not the finished product? 🤔

My more naive side wants to guess that that the artists who draw this shit have seen the mangled taint of post-op trannies, and are too grossed out to draw that, so they get as close as they can without depicting it.
Then again, I know they would just slap a normal looking vagina or penis on them, to fulfill as much of the fetish as they can while suppressing the horrible side effects.

I mean yeah the obvious thing is they will draw trans people with perfectly functioning genitals but still, I’d be interested in seeing that art if there is any. I doubt it gets any attention. Perhaps the reason why people don’t incorporate post-op trans people in their woke art is because then at that point they are just regular people, and no longer “trans” because their transition is finished?

Also, when they are doing those it's "one of every sexual orientation expect straight".
And arent "genderfluid", "nonbinary" and "genderqueer" the same thing?
