unrelated to my previous point, but my best friend is ftm. he dresses feminine sometimes because he likes the fashion, but is almost always in a binder and using a packer, because of his discomfort otherwise. he hasn't had a chance to start transitioning yet, as the NHS sucks, but i can not imagine him ever showing off his future top surgery scars. he simply wouldn't want to draw attention to such things.

oh my god this is absolutely hilarious because i used to know blake and i also was around agent_lapin

they both have bitchy tendencies, but blake is the worst.

agent_lapin has regressed artwise but other than that she just draws kpop stuff AFAIK and is harmless.

however, blake has a history of copying other artists and is generally just an awful human being.
there's this one other furry artist whose name i can't remember but she completely ripped the body and coloring style
the other artist politely confronted them about it and blake almost understood at first, but then flipped it around and was basically like
"i looked up to u and then u made me feel so bad about it waaah"
she is extremely manipulative with a severe victim complex, so it's honestly hilarious to see her call out "toxic" artists when she's probably the worst I've seen.

Anyone who gets closer than her dumbass twitter rants will see her for the true monster she is. She's AWFUL

Yeah, I can see that. The two things that tipped me off that this Blake chick was likely being disingenuous was that she was the one to DM the other girl first about commissions - meaning she was either attempting to schmooze up to her or looking for something to screencap later - and that she got so assmad about seemingly offhand comments like “if there’s a radical and complete overhaul in your art style seemingly overnight I’m assuming it’s not an organic style shift” with “OH YOU CALLING ME A PLAGIARIST???” That seems way too defensive for someone who supposedly hasn’t been copying anyone. I was starting to suspect they’ve gone through quite a few copy-cat phases based on that, so it’s nice to hear my suspicions were correct.

It's a long and complicated history, but blake and agent_lapin knew each other on an art site so her going to agent_lapin for pricing help isn't completely out of the blue, but she's also a clout chaser, so i don't doubt there's some attempt of schmoozing going on

reading the thread, it seems like agent_lapin has accused SO MANY people of style theft over something small and dming artists to change because they used a similar color palette.
from what I've seen personally from agent_lapin, she does have a tendency to think everyone is influenced by her.
however, humans are naturally influenced by each other (to a certain extent), so her calling it out as if it's inherently wrong is strange.

i 100% agree with blake about agent_lapin being too much with accusing artists of "stealing" a style of doing eyelashes.
that's not enough to be considered art style theft, and artists take elements from other artists all the time.

HOWEVER! Blake will blow shit out of proportion and go on a very aggressive defense (extreme victim complex & an overall bitch)
She may be in the (sort of) right this time by "exposing" agent_lapin toxic behavior, cause it seems like this a trend of hers and has accused a lot of other artists of "art theft"

But previous times when she's copied an artist, she's ripped a lot more than just one tiny element like eyelashes.

It's funny because she also talks about "art style theft" isn't real.
it very much is and it is very insulting to artists who experiment with their style for years to find it instead of just taking from others.
i find that most of these people who don't think art style theft is real have styles that look overall generic because it's just an accumulation of everyone else's style.

TL;DR this is just two art bitches, one's a pretentious bitch, the other's an angry bitch, arguing over some fuckin eyelashes and being "controlled" on a platform they can just block someone on.

hey, at least they drew him with asian features instead of blackwashing him like every other anime character. props for actually making him look japanese. and dont the jojo characters have pronounced lips in the art style anyway? i feel like this is actually pretty good.

...the hair will never make sense to me tho
