Kyoya's (glasses boy) body language is entirely wrong. While he will let others take center stage and he a less prominent role as politeness and the situation warrents, he is nonethless a proud, self-certain individual. He does not cringe, he does not hunch down behind things, he does not hide behind his books. He stands tall, he stands firm, he is a representative of the great family he is a part of, and must not do harm to that family's reputation. He is proud, arrogant, cunning, manipulative, and this hunched over thing in the picture most certaintly is not.

By drawing them as ugly as heck. It's kind of like those people who unintentionally draw their minority characters to look like racist stereotypes. You're not celebrating trans people by making them ugly or giving them overdone chest scars, it seems more like you're insulting them.

Genuine question: how the fuck does Destiny have so many followers? Objectively speaking, her skill level is mediocre, her line art isn't clean, her digital colouring is basic and its clear her artwork is just pencil sketches coloured digitally. Also, when is she getting her own thread?

Two words: Lip service. She draws all these minorities because she thinks that'll make them feel "vawid uwu", but never actually DOES anything to support them. A lot of people like DtM are more interested in saying the right thing and think that's the same as doing the right thing, which is why we get a lot of them drawing things like "this character says (X) rights!" or "I headcanon this character as this gender and they have that disgusting skin condition!" They think that's some form of activism or something when- well- that ain't it chief. It's as soulless as corporations during Pride Month.

Massive, massive pandering, and being extremely productive since her art is so low-effort.
It's the same reason why starting artists try to get popular drawing lots of shitty fanart. The quality doesn't matter when the target audience already loves the subject, and by doing a metric ass-load of drawings they can increase the chance of people seeing and sharing something.
Only in her case the "fanart" is just... social justice bulshit. It should be its own genre, really.

Both of these the pretty one looks so much better because they aren't filled with unnecessarily detail. Especially the second ugly girl would look fine without stretch marks, fat sure but fine. It's completely possible to do girls that aren't traditionally hot or pretty but still nice or fun to look at, like most female disney bad guys are ugly but still visually stunning.
