Western countries understand the dangerous side of Christianity but blow it out of proportions from time to time, Islam on the other hand is widely misunderstood because no one wants to go in depth with it and end up taking false information from muslims about what it actually is. Islam isn't a happy religion where everyone holds hands and spins around in circles it's a ruthless ideology which uses tactics such as brainwashing and violence it's nowhere near as peaceful as everyone claims it to be, trust me I know.
