I guess to ask where a specific image came from if it links to some Tumblr blog? I don't know. The people in these comments tend to be a special variety of stupid. Here's said people bitching about a character not looking "black" enough:

That comment from Coolcloud17: 'You shouldn't just draw [blah blah blah' and 'artists are meant to push themselves'

People can 'just draw' whatever they want, and so what if they don't want to push themselves if it's just for fun. It's those sorts of arbitrary rules from idiots online that push people away from even trying art, writing, etc. Loish is probably one of the most successful and well-known digital artists online and for years she only drew pretty girls. It's still the thing she's most known for.

Wonder if they realise how much their crying over lighter skin puts off artists from drawing any black characters, just to avoid the drama. Same with black characters in books. Who would want to deal with the headache of drawing/writing a character 'wrong' and the ensuing social media backlash.

As someone who is into character design and art faggotry in general, this blog is the antithesis of my hobby. None of its OCs are given thought on how they were designed. the Shape, the posture, the colors, the details, etc. all of these elements should've given you clues on what what the character is supposed to be.

This fucker has the audacity to boast that it made 1,566 characters as if it's an achievement and once you look at its shit all you see is a Hodge podge of gaudy colors, flat and bland lineart, and incohesive details and outfits. If it really is passionate about character design, it would've given a smidgen of effort on understanding the guidelines of making a character and what they represent before breaking them instead of outright ditching them entirely. But no, because it's probably doing all of this so it can get internet strangers to give it the attention that it's parents neglected to give.
