I actually think this is kinda cute, especially in comparison to the other grotesque monstrosities in this thread.
The only thing too SJWish about it is the racebending and turning non lesbians into lesbians.

About the lesbians thing : Some people thinks it's actuallyy canon because in one episode, Daphne and Velma switch their pajamas, which means they probably have sex

These are waaayy better than the last one. Not just technically, but also because they stuck to the roots of the characters. Each of them still have appeal and are recognizable. It's very cute.

This is what confuses me. Sometimes you get really quality art from people who know what they're doing and it's on the most popular thing on the site for a while. You get plenty of people who praise these types of art too (on Tumblr I notice that redesigns get hundreds if not thousands of notes. It's THAT popular to redesign something well... popular), but somehow...people don't learn? At all? I never see some of these people try to replicate or even better their own art when they support stuff like this. I honestly don't get it.

This is close to actually working it hurts. Say what you want about the gay headcanon being overused in the fandom and the NSFW, but this generally doesn't look that bad. The only issues are the vitilego that doesn't seem to make any sense, the scars look more like marker drawings than scars, I can barely tell who is who ( I don't know ANYONE on Hetalia who's that fucking dark) and the noses.

Oh god, the noses. If there's one art style choice I HATE from Tumblr it's these god awful noses that look like triangles. They don't look drawn on. The artist didn't even get rid of the sketch lines. I don't understand why people draw noses with sketch lines like this. It doesn't look good. It makes the work look incredibly awkward. You can't just have a line go directly through the face and call it a day. It's super distracting. When will they learn?

The art is adorable, it's just way too heavy-handedly "quirky lesbians!!!!uwu" to the point it becomes unappealing to me, is all. I literally followed this artist because I like their artstyle but I just thought this one was a bit.. Hm.

It's the pendant, isn't it?
Because that's what pushed it over for me. Things like that fall way too much under telling than showing. It's especially weird in what's supposed to be fanart when it seems such a random thing for a character like her to wear.

This isn't where it started, actually. I can't believe I know this, but I remember the exact post where the whole "they're lesbians!" thing started. Took me a bit to find it.

(Velma is getting levitated and has to try and hold her skirt down to avoid being completely upskirted in this scene)

So people looked into other episodes, movies, etc. to reinforce this, of course.
