honestly i kinda love something about these designs
id be lying if i said they didnt feel somewhat... tumblr-ish, but theyre also fairly fucking cool and unique, they designs are interesting and the first oc's quirk is really well thought out,cons and all! and if the 3rd design is meant to be some kinda horrifying monster they did a great job

tho something abt the artstyle does come off a bit sjw, not the features themselves but just by association with the kinda people who tend to draw like that. the artist def calls em their 'gay lil bean babies uwu'

To be fair, Izuru’s skin is notably paler than Hajime’s in canon. It’s just another physical change he undergoes. Doesn’t excuse artists drawing Hajime ten shades darker than in canon, though. Or giving the Hajime-Izuru fusion vitiligo. Yes, I’ve seen that before.

I’ve seen that artist floating around. They got pissy because someone disagreed with them when they said that no one in Danganronpa was cishet, then they backtracked and said it was a joke. There was a mini-shitstorm around it on Danganronpa Amino.

They’ve also been doing these autistic redesigns for the female characters that seem to only exist in order to cover up their skin and stop those dang dirty cis white males finding any sort of appeal in them.
