I disagree. I want to see full spectrum of blackwashing because that's more intresting than just the horrible stuff. I want the lazy, the awkward, the uncomfortable, the ugly, the bizarre and even the good. I think all adds to conversation about this ridiculousness and gives better picture of the situation. Especially when paired with the artists commentary filled modern buzzwords and anti-white racism that also targets asians because anime draws japanese too white.
Just to be clear, it's okey do race bends but you should be honest what it is and it's possible to do them well. I'm strong believer of it's fun do race bends but that's deep it goes. It's not rebellious, it doesn't make characters more relatable or raise black people up. It's just a visual "what if" no different than anime version, pony version, steampunk version or baby version. The problem isn't racebending by itself but the current attitude that fuels it that often also leads into full tumbr but isn't limited to that.
