This is Isaac / Hodie. AKA transleonskennedyy or Softiekitten. They're currently obsessed with Resident Evil (but also do some Silent Hill and other horror game franchises), and more specifically Leon Kennedy x Jack Krauser (the ship is called Metaltango), of which they draw gratuitious shitty porn and write even shittier fics. Actually, depending of the AU version of FNF you look into, Daddy Dearest IS made into a troon because of "demon magic", making it possible for him to have children regardless. This applies to basically every character in the base game (because, you know, AUs), but it mainly happens to Girlfriend because of course it would happen to Girlfriend. I shall list a few examples:​

• Friday Night Funkin': B3 Remixes (named after its musician and creator, Biddle3, who is also a troon) made Girlfriend into a black trans vampire woman (and she looks just like you imagine it). This is probably the most infamous example since B3!GF is always used as a scapegoat to silence any sort of criticism towards Biddle3 and his mod because of "muh racism and transphobia".​
• Friday Night Funkin' Neo's version of Pico is also trans, gay and dating Whitty (well, not anymore, not after the Whitty drama from last year, now he's dating a different popular mod character). Also, in this remix mod, Monster (or Lemon Demon, as known by fans) is BF's father, which is funny to bring up.​
• Monday Dusk Monolith not only turns most of the base game's characters into donut steels but also makes BF (born non-binary, somehow, and transitioning into a man with he/they/xe pronouns), GF (MtF) and Pico (FtM) into trannies just because the mod's plot involves everyone turning into monsters because of a monolith.​
• Every character in Friday Night Funkin' D-Sides has a wall of text dressed as "Trivia" right beside them. This is the one mod that has Daddy Dearest as FtM and still capable of having children because of demon magic. GF is also autistic, but that might be canonical.​
• Friday Night Funkin' C-Sides has been a dead mod for almost a year now, but one day they just randomly came out to announce that their version of GF is, you guessed it, trans and black.​
• Thank Twitter User @TransKanye on this one, because for some reason they are a Girlfriend Kinnie and every GF they touch turns into a tranny of some sort. This happened to Friday Night Funkin' Flip-Side's version of GF, who was not only made trans but brown (sadly this post was deleted, but their user is in the replies at least).​

From what Ive seen, it was easy to mod and just an easy simple game in general. With being so easy and simple, it allowed retards to easily put their ocs into the game and they eat that shit up.
The more simple, cartoony, colorful art style draws them in too.
The annoying beep music with no lyrics is easy to make and map out mods for and they dont have to worry about being good at music because the worst trash to ever meet your ears is considered great in the modding community.
Theres also the story: pretty much nothing, A guy gets into song battles over his girlfriend. Its impossible not to follow and is just a writing prompt for horrible edgy AUs.
The creator of the game made a joke about Pico and Boyfriend being ex boyfriends and thats when the community started growing. They later said it wasnt a joke of course, because they would have been "canceled" for half an hour otherwise. When you say theres an lgbt character in your fidget spinner of a game, even as a joke, youre doomed.
So, all it takes is a simple, easy game with bright colors, high pitched music that doesnt sound good, and a shallow story and you have yourself some perfect pastel flag waving retard bait. (Another example: Splatoon) i wish they had set a trap to go with it, but instead they just kept feeding them...
What i really dont understand is why it turned into this edgy "SpOoKy ChArAcTeR" kind of game, with mods for things like sonic.exe of all things. When that stuff started the only "spooky" thing was the lemon monster, which was hidden away in a debug mode.
