Can confirm, am schizo (and all of my other friends who are into Lain are also schizos). Haibane Renmei is probably like, higher tier schizo. What fucks me up the most is a lot of these kids are younger than the media they drool over by a pretty big margin, but it seems to cut off pre-2000's. I'm still waiting for someone to SJW-ify fucking Urusei Yatsura or Minky Momo.

There's a bit of an overlap between Schizo Lain Fans and AGP Lain Fans. As you mention before with the allusions to seweslvt.

The worst I found was an autistic self-insert and "stimboards" and an entire post pointing out things kids do and going "LOOK! SHE'S GOT THE TISM!". The self-insert artist looks like a goldmine, will post anything else that peaks my interest.

This is all incredibly fucking painful to witness, and on top of Lain as well. Sheer Agony.

Joker does seem to get the attention of SJWs- The Lego Batman movie was the catalyst imho, with the running gag of Bruce and Joker having some sort of weird romance that consists of them hating each other. What I don't get is how the look at the Joker, an abusive, manipulative mass-murderer with little regard for those around him only seeking to cause as much damage and chaos as possible, and go "ah yeah, misunderstood uwu bean". Harley has the distinction of having this done to her character by official sources. Abuse victim or not homegirl is responsible for almost as much bloodshed as Joker. She's not quirky she's a fucking dangerous criminal.

And that's a reason, why Joker (and Batman-verse in general) amazes me. On the one hand we have a movies/comics/cartoon for kids (eg: Lego Batman Movie,Batman the Animated Series, Brave and Bold, 196O's Batman series and movie) and on the other hand we have a comics, that touch upon really mature themes and are drastic (eg: Death in the Family, Death of the Family, Serious House on Serious Earth, Injustice comics, Killing Joke, 2019's Joker)
