Honestly seen worse, though I can definitely see how some aspects of the redesigns are really jarring, but maybe it's because I have some experience with pixel edits. The tied hairstyles feel a bit weird because of the sprites' natural angle, certain additions or changes feel unnatural or out-of-character, there is a bit too much clutter, and the inconsistency with the horns bothers me a little (not really Karkat, Terezi or Gamzee's painted horns but more like how Aradia's and Tavros' look the same color (and same as default horn colors) despite being of different blood castes, as well as Vriska's horns being light at the base and dark at the top unlike everyone else).
Not much to say about the human redesigns... adding too many skin details is weird on Homestuck sprites, and I've only seen people who heavily detailed EVERY aspect of a sprite pull it off correctly. Random vitiligo on Roxy. Jade's hair is short, not sure why since she's the human with the longest hair.
