And maybe this is just me being a dreaded ableist asshole, but mobility aids on characters just look sad. They're not cool. You can give a character a wheelchair, a fake limb, a cane, a staff, whatever, and it CAN be done well and look good, but 99% of the time these lazy-ass artists just draw hospital-grade prosthetics that just remind you the character is hobbled and gimping around like a sad old person. It's like if the only glasses on a character people drew were cringey old 1940s coke bottle glasses that didn't look good on anyone. Fuckin' lightning-print walker for Frankie Stein, jesus christ. Is she going to bingo at the nursing home?? ugh. /rant

For love of fuck. Wybie from Coraline was already POC. While he is light enough to tanned white, he is mix raced. His grandma and her twin sister who is one of the ghost kid are black. So he is at least 1/4 black and being raced by that black side because his black grandmother was calling him to dinner and keeping him from the Pink Palace.

The movie actually had a short very tame joke about this but it got cut. Probably to avoid racism accusations from people like this. Coraline asking from Wybie's point of view out of nonewhere if his grandmother is black. Coraline was just checking if she identified the cute ghostgirl right but understandably Wybie being out of the loop was just confused why race got brought in the conversation. It was a one sentence and they immediately move on to a longer unhinged sounding rant as it was at start of the converstion where Coraline tells Wybie about the existence of the other world. Whole point of it being that he has a reason leaving by saying she is crazy but comes back later because he realizes that she was telling the truth.

These ones are by far the worst I've ever seen. I genuinely can't tell if they're parody of sjw art or not because it is so disgusting and absurd. They literally turned a little girl into a muscular bearded nigger with dreads. And the sasquatch standing behind him is short in the comics but for some reason is 8 feet tall now?
