From what latinos have told me Puss is a Spaniard (obviously) and Kitty Softpaws could be Mexican. Ignorring woke white people south and central americans have always had beef with Spaniards it's rather amusing lol.
Yeah, in most of the humanization I've seen, puss is kept as white and kitty is brown.

Honestly just wanted to show off some humanization that I like lol.
Here's something on topic20230120_191841.jpg

>"he HAS to be dark skinned because hes meant to be brazillian/spanish!"

im starting to consider
and this may sound farfetched, but hear me out
that sheltered inner city girls who complain about this stuff dont know many foreigners
Back in the day I was around a lot of black girls and even when they drew themselves they didn't color themselves in dark. It wasn't because they had some internalized "misogynoir" lol. They just didn't want to bother with grinding their pencil down for a doodle on their math homework.
I have never seen so much black teenager art done by anyone except white girls.

I'm someone from "soccer and samba" land, a lot of different and diverse ethnic groups live in there, including white people, even though "mulatto" and black people make over 50% of the population

And also, the southern region is predominantly white. The state of Rio Grande do Sul has many Italian and German families. We aren't all just brown like in other Hispanic countries because our country is big. Yet white SJWs from first-world countries don't know anything about basic geography. The same thing applies to Russia, an even bigger country, it's actually extremely diverse and they are not all white.

A lot of the FtM art in this dump just makes me really sad. The whole "made in His image" and "I'm freeeee!!" things just stab me in the heart. Like...girl, you were made in God's image and you decided that wasn't good enough. You're not free from sexism/pain just because you cut your boobs off, you're basically a cutter convinced that your blood dripping off your hand will wash you clean. You're just torturing yourself because you're convinced women will never be happy unless they become men. That's sexist and sad as hell.

I love how they always find excuses to make the straight pairing they like gay.

I have an autistic theory on why we tend to see art like this, but I'll put in spoilers because I don't want to derail too much.

My theory on why there's an abundance of this type of art and "obviously straight couple but they are he/him lesbians" art made by zoomers is because,
zoomers we're taught this meme of "Heterosexuality=Bland/Bad/Boring" thanks to Tumblr and Twitter social circles.

So when they eventually run into a straight pairing that completely obliterates their assumptions that those social circles influenced them to think, they
panic because they never thought about that possibility and fear possible ostracization from their social groups that taught them the "Straight=Bad" mindset. So they masquerade
straight couples they like as "qweer" through headcanoning and art, even though it's obvious that they aren't being subtle at all.

TL;DR version: Zoomers were conditioned to think "Hetero/CIS=Not Cool" thanks to Tumblr/Twitter spaces.
And every time they like a hetero pairing, they do retarded amount of coping and ass-pulling by headcanoning
straight couples as anything but straight, because liking straight pairing in spaces like those is a death sentence in their Zoomer circles.

This is a bit off topic but I'd like to elaborate since I used to frequent these shipping spaces for my own amusement a while back. Aside from it being a huge thing of "oh heterosexuality is bad!!!", it'd actively cause controversy within fandoms and people would paint you as a bad person if you lacked any homosexual pairings.

Notably, there was a big "controversy" last year in the Genshin Impact fandom when people started to ship Ayato and Yae Miko due to the popular belief that Yae Miko is a lesbian (even though there's nothing confirming or denying sexualities). This is further made worse because Yae Miko is included in the popular F/F ship EiMiko. Oddly enough, Tumblr doesn't seem to be the place where fandom discourse happens anymore. That seems to be more of a Twitter thing now. Under the spoiler is some examples of this, though they're hard to find as this is over a year old and was mostly on Twitter.
The most frequent claim these people would make would be something along the lines of "Shipping a M/F pairing is homophobic because [x] is gay!!". It'd often be phrased in a more general way such as this Tweet or be something more targeted under posts of heterosexual couples.

While this one isn't bad and the artist actually likes/draws a hetero ship, I want to highlight the "CW // #yaeyato" at the top. For those that don't know, CW stands for content warning, and posts with CWs commonly are spaced out with a few periods like the artist had.

The biggest thing, though, was on Archive of Our Own. There was a "war" there where YaeYato shippers would write fanfiction and incorrectly tag/summarize it. It would seem innocent enough by that alone only to be some weird rape fic. This is one thing where you'll have to take my word and this Tumblr screenshot for since I'm sure these were mass reported or something.

It had turned into a thing where it's harder to find the people that will scream about the ship and more people trying to dunk on the haters, but it gets pathetic on the "pro het ship" side, too. Someone made a whole Carrd dedicated to defending it back in March. While the URL (https://yaeyato.carrd.co/) still works, it seems like someone took it and replaced all the content with "lmao" and nothing else, so it's not worth trying to archive.

Small image tax for my sperging. I swear I'm not using the right tags because I didn't find much with the few I tried. Oh well.

What tags are you using? I usually look for some variation of trans OC, or [fandom] redesign. When you find a particularly bad artist, too, you can go back to their blog and look for their art tags (or artists they've reblogged and their tags, etc.) You find a bunch that way. Tumblr on desktop has the "more like this" feature too, which is great for finding similar stuff.
