OK. This will not be an easy post for me to make but I have a bit to say about this person which will be TMI so I am just gonna rip the band-aid and do it. To keep the post on-topic I will first show you the kind of art this person does:
Pretty gnarly shit, yeah. But I want to say that at the end of the day, I respect this person for their talent as an artist but there's a whole list of problems with this person that I simply cannot reconcile with.
And here is the TMI Bombshell:
Now, I am not calling for harrassment of this person, which is why I am censoring their handle on Twitter. I just wanted to see what this artist was up to after a year and the results were to me not super surprising, but still disappointing.
Exhibit A:
FORCING OTHERS, INCLUDING MINORS TO SAY YOUR PRONOUNS VIA THREATENING SUICIDE.
Holy shit. Starting off strong here. I always knew this person to be a terminally online person with toxic tendencies but this truly was an escalation I didn't expect.
Considering you have younger brothers as siblings, you should be well aware of what young boys care about. Manga (comics to a lesser extent), Toys, Games... Pronoun Policing is far away from that list of priorities for kids. Expecting 10 year olds and 13 year olds to play along with the pronoun game is actually pathetic considering they are not, nor do they care to be 'educated' on such matters. But I guess you can't accept that, so you have to browbeat random kids or the family close to you into 'acknowledging' who you 'truly are'.
I can't emphasise this enough. These tweets make you look psychopathic. There are better ways to deal with misgendering than putting a knife to your neck and screaming at the other person to use your pronouns.
Exhibit B:
TRIBALISM OVER A CONFLICT THAT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH YOU
This is the least surprising thing I saw from this artist's profile.
Of course you would engage in tribalism and posture yourself on the 'right side of history' with Jihadists and terrorists in Hamas.
If that is how you want to treat everyone around you, if you prefer this cesspool of non-stop anger and pain, go ahead. I am no longer your friend, if you want it this way. Because I am staying neutral on a geopolitical conflict thousands and thousands of miles away from me, involving religions I am not a follower of. What a crime.
What kills me about this is, I know people who are Muslim, which makes their stance of Palestine disagreeable, but understandable. Plus, they do not alienate people who remain neutral and instead maintain friendships with them. A lot more respectful that this clout-chasing dumbass.

OVERREACTING ABOUT ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE
And no Artist Twitter Profile is complete without seething over Artificial Intelligence.
I recently saw a Terry Davis clip and I find a quote from it apt as a response:
"Artificial Intelligence can break humanity, but it can also be the point which humanity elevates itself."
(Yeah it's not accurate I am paraphrasing)
From one aspiring artist to another. Stop it. Stop this defeatist attitude about Artificial Intelligence. Humanity won't improve if it shirks away from impending threats. Artificial Intelligence would not be possible without the work of its predecessors over hundreds of years.
Here is some food for thought: Would Artificial Intelligence be able to create a Sonichu comic in a universe where Sonichu never existed? My answer leans to no. Artificial Intelligence's crutch is that it needs a database to iterate off of. Which means it NEEDS YOU.
You should not be afraid. No one should. The fair fear is towards the entities that own a monopoly over AI. That is genuinely a moral quandary.
TL;DR I knew this person has potential and I think they still do. But it's these things like political activism and unfounded fear of artificial intelligence that gets in the way of them finding a path to success. If no one cares to support your work it is likely because you made the artwork to appeal only to yourself. Try and change that. It is likely this artist will never see this (and I hope they don't) so this serves as a warning to other artists lurking on here to not end up like this. It's frankly pathetic and annoying.

For more TMI, I broke off contact with this person due to language policing (I couldn't use the word retard apparently) and criticism of the LGBT community (sharing a video of a person critical of LGBT, which led to them arguing that none of what was in the video was real, then i maintained my disagreement and they said it was the fault of people like me that LGBT suffer) and I can't bother to try and talk to them again.

She should be worried about deepfakes + realistic images meant to falsely accuse someone of something bad. While I'm neutral on AI - I don't mind making AI art for fun and I'm not a rabid hater, but it's nothing more than an amagalmation of human creations and the creativity still comes from humans, not the AI itself, and I understand the concern with AI possibly replacing all kinds of jobs in the future - and I still think human art is better, there are some "artists" in this thread I don't mind having them being replaced by AI at all....
When your art meets all the criteria of this guide and you butchered the characters to the point AI art looks better than your creations, you fucked up big time.
Also, your post would suit the Social Justice Warriors thread better, to be honest.

It's not just anywhere, I posted it right here. They make that kind of art. Sometimes it's more SFW ship art but that's not as often as the hand-painred gore.
The worst part is I really wanted to support them, I went along with the pronoun charade, I even commisioned her, which was her first commission. Now everything has a bitter feeling to it

I don't know if they have done specifically this, but the art I have shared of their gore art is of their OCs. Make of that what you will.
I am sure it is externalised angst and hatred of "the crime of being". If I remember correctly, this artist as well as their friends have gone to therapy and take meds over this. Maybe it is self-induced and the meds just make things worse. I wish I could understand but the more I look back on past interactions the more I realise I never truly knew those people. And frankly I am better off not knowing and not associating with them.

Your classmate is why insane asylums were standard practice. Gore art doesn't necessarily mean poor mentality, but in the context of threatening suicide to a 13-year-old and over AI art, I'd say it's certainly a red flag. After about two years of AI art advancement, I'm not seeing artists left and right having commissions drastically decrease, or a plethora of companies drop hiring artists in exchange for AI generations. Hell, the only ones I've seen that tried doing that like Wacom, got shat on by the entire art community to the point where it was trending on Xitter and Wacom had to publicly make an apology. And also, I predict that it will eventually become a law that AI generated images and videos will be required by posters/publishers to state that it is user-generated. It's bound to happen when some politician inevitably gets fucked over by a damning AI-generated photo or video. Not to mention stomping out "realistic" AI-generated content of indecent imagery that is already considered illegal. But back on topic, the only thing that's going to keep this girl jobless is her own behavior. Companies aren't going to hire someone who has confessed to suicide-baiting a child. The gore art already puts her on paper-thin ice. I suggest she 1. cut out all this tranny shit, she'd be much happier without it. 2. Wipe out all the deranged tweets on her profile. 3. Quit assuming everything means doomsday. You can either take control of the situation, or let the situation take control of you. 4. Kids say the darndest things. Laugh and don't take them to heart.
Hopefully she has a come-to-Jesus moment before she does something stupid she'll regret.
