Given them liposuction, straight hair, making them very feminine and cute and pretty much fulfilling that fantasy that most SJWs absolutely despised. The downside from that suggestion is that the costumes are in my typical standards for very coomer garbage, as well as blending between Mahou Shoujo and futurism instead of the original designs.

It's like they just spawn more details when I'm not looking!! We all know there's a good design buried under a thick layer of DEI, I don't have to point it out for the 50th time lol. Anyway, here's my attempt before I threw in the towel, I just can't look at it anymore.

When you put it like this, the design is really cute, but it needs the right level of polish and care for it to work. People with really dark skin do exist, but in the original art it looked kinda uncanny? Is that the right word?

I get what you're saying even if it's not the right word. Though it's worth mentioning I did lighten the skin a little before picking the colors:

I try to avoid lightening the skin too much whenever I do one of these redraws. It'd be easy to just sit here and make everything blonde and blue-eyed like that 4chan Steven Universe troll blog from 2015, but we've already seen what happens when the original artist of one of these things shows up here and finds their art completely whitewashed. They start feeling all justified and go "see, KiwiFarms is racist, all their fixes are just turning the characters white, so I don't have to listen to anything they say." But if I keep the characters black, or fat, or whatever else, and still manage to make an appealing drawing, then the original artist has to acknowledge that it's not evil racists and oppressive bigots keeping their art from succeeding, they're just intentionally portraying non-aryan people as ugly, which is funny 'cause isn't that what the real racist would do?
