This artist really doesn't like to have white and pale characters.

I can understand making Blake darker skinned. It would fit better with her black cat motif and it's literally in her name, and being a Faunus, she's part of the whole "persecuted minority" bit possibly with a side of "because the majority are total jelly of our verifiable superiority".

Meanwhile, I feel like Weiss is the worst off. Not only is her name literally meant to evoke "white" (and if I were to put on her some sort of unusual skin tone, I'd go albino), but she's supposed to be the rebellious princess of the establishment. If Human-Faunas relationships are supposed to be bigoted majority vs persecuted minority, she's the daughter of the man that is seen as the face of said bigotry (though he may be more just an ambitious and exploitative asshole whose callous disregard for sapient life more negatively impacts the persecuted minority overall without a need to specifically target them).

As for the art itself, boo. Maybe if the art style were decent, like the Genderbent Hades/Persephone one a bit back I wouldn't care so much, but not doing it for me.

Why is Dave black and alcoholic (obligatory "das racist" comment) in this one? I mean I know black Dave has been a thing forever (because he's into rap I guess?) but alcoholic? There's about 6 other characters in Homestuck who it makes way more sense for than the 13 year old wannabe rapper.

I have never understood Dave being black when he is described as albino

You can still be 'black' and albino though(only albino person I knew was like this)
