It's "mind your business" when expressing genuine worry of kids being told into being something they clearly have little understanding of. It's "mind your business" when critiquing anything about the community that isn't just a facet of "They're not being LOUD AND QUEER ENOUGH AND REPRESENTING MINORITIES MORE!!".
It's "mind your business" when anyone doesn't suck the girlpenis without question. Honestly I still don't even know wtf asexuals really are, even after reading the entire anonymous asexual thread and some other cow threads.
If I understand it Asexual means you just aren't into sex? Okay? Isn't that just an opt out kind of situation? Why does it need to be a "thing" of any kind?
Most hobbies and social clubs don't involve sex, just go and enjoy those things and if somebody approaches you sexually (lol) tell them "no thanks". That's it. I can understand you might feel left out of society sometimes given sexuality creeps into a lot of things but tough shit. I don't care about sports whatsoever and that leaves me out of a TON of conversations, I don't need to form an entire identity and political movement around that.
I don't like sports so I don't think about sports. But asexuals seem to CONSTANTLY post about sex and how they don't participate in it... it comes across as some guy constantly talking about how he's totally not gay and he hates fags. Like do you really? There's also something really odd about it, like they're obsessed with sex while also claiming they don't want it?

The only examples of asexual “oppression” I’ve really seen is 1. “My parents/friends/whatever keep asking why I don’t have a bf/gf when I don’t want to fuck or even be in a relationship AUGH”, and 2. “My marriage fell apart because my husband didn’t get why I never wanted to have sex, ever”. I do believe that asexuality exists in some forms, ie having a naturally low libido. But I believe a lot of these people just have really skewed views on sex, and a lot of the times are horndogs themselves. It gets even worse if they really tie it to their identity. Pride parades are already pretty bad and cringe, but when you have the asexuals coming in with signs saying “let’s just cuddle! UwU” and “I’d rather eat cake!” it somehow causes the secondhand embarrassment to skyrocket. There’s just an insane amount of smugness and entitlement that comes with them so often.

@Grand Duke Snowfall (can't do the highlighting reply thing on my phone, site is being weird) I also think asexuality can be a thing, but I feel like a vast majority of asexuals are either minors, autistic, traumatized/abused, or on drugs that destroy their libido. I'd say probably 95% of them fall into one or more of those categories, but they've either fallen into the Pride sjw circles or are desperate to believe nothing is wrong with them and use the asexuality label to cover the real root of their condition. Personally, if it helps them to cope, that's fine with me because they're not having sex and it's not like that's any skin off my nose, but the ones who are objectively horny and sexual and are blatantly lying about being "asexual," those ones are a bigger problem.

I can't quote @Mad Hunter 's post, but the story about Bloodborn gave me a lot of flashbacks. It's such a common thing, it probably happened, happens and will happen in every fandom, at least a dozen times.
The way autistic fujos and yurifags bully people for daring to like heterosexual ships is astounding. Can't quote your above post but I heavily agree with your "gay ships are as unoriginal and do the very same things het ships do" part of your long post. It's a huge case of "It's more FUN when it's queer!" despite they do the same uncreative, uninspired mill produced junk they often say "Are The Straights Okay?" at.
If the only thing I have to care about in a ship is how gay two people are for each other, then I'm not looking at character, I'm looking at dolls. It's one of the major reasons I'm against shipping characters. They can be used for creative endeavors and good explorations of said character's motivation, personality, and arc, but most of the time, its just used for fanatical AUs and the characters doing generic lovey dovey stuff.
I'm not saying they have to be the way I want it to be. But it sucks it's unnecessarily rare to see a ship that's not just done to fill Tumblr quotas. I always prefer developing a character over who they're kissing or in bed with. It's far more interesting to me.

I will confess, I am a sucker for ships, and enjoy straight and nonstraight ones in equal measure. Imo romance can be pretty fun, but like most things, I prefer it to be in moderation/taken casually. One problem I have with romance arcs a lot of the time is not only when they pander to the insane shippers, but when they overpower literally everything else. For instance, I never watched that Voltron reboot, can’t tell you shit about it. But I definitely remember how insane the shippers were, and how the only thing they ever seemed to talk about was who they want to bang who. Same goes for so much of the ship art I’ve seen on this thread, it’s characters boiled down to basic yaoi/yuri dynamics. Like it’s the only thing they care about. The way I see it, if romance isn’t the focal point of the story, it’s best kept on the down low, have the characters’ personalities mesh well in a way that you can see why they’re together (as opposed to reducing them to stereotypes/caricatures), or not used at all. And basically all fandoms need this quote drilled into their collective brains.
TL;DR: romance can be pretty fun but holy fuck do so many goddamn people take it way too far.

From what I gathered, asexuals dont claim that they aren't into sex. Hence the whole "Asexuality is on a spectrum" I talked about this before, but I'm really starting to hate the whole "Its a spectrum" argument. Don't get me wrong some things like autism can be on the spectrum, but using "Its on the spectrum" for something like asexual is just a cop out way to have an identity without doing anything because these people literally claim that you can have a high sex drive but can still be asexual. This is what I saw from an article.
So according to these people, you're asexual only if you lack sexual attraction to the person, which is bullshit because doesn't the fact that you're enjoying sex with someone mean you find them sexually attractive at least a little bit? How can you claim to not have a sexual attraction but do all of the above? I'd like to ask these people what exactly is the difference between this and a normal straight person? It goes back into what someone else said, for all of these people's claims about how straight people don't understand "queer" people or how they feel, these people have no understanding of straight people and think were all a bunch of horny apes that literally think about sex 24/7.
I'm starting to notice that the friends and people I talk with on Discord are starting to get sick of shipping in general. One person in particular told me in a public Discord (but doesn't have a whole lot of people in it) that he hates how half the fanbase in this fandom were in hates straight shipping. Even if its one that makes sense, no one cares about it. However, if you ship two same sex characters that have never interacted before, nor would it make sense for them to be attracted to each other, it gets astroturfed liked. I wait for the day where same sex ships get seen in the same light as these people see straight ships "Boring and unoriginal"
