These kids really do seem to have a problem race-bending real people.

Hoo boy, worst part to me is that the older style actually had a lot of potential, get rid of the garish-as-hell 'blush' on their faces and maybe make the overall look more grungy/street-art-esqueand you'd have a decent style going. But, no they just somehow made it even more generic than before

As for the newest Little Women reboot, I thought Amy was the one that wanted to marry a rich man, not Meg. While I've only seen the 90s movie, I don't remember Jo being like this.

As far as I recall, Meg was a bit greedy and toyed with the idea of marrying a rich dude... in the first book. When she heard people accusing Marmee of being willing to use her and Jo to marry rich men and become gold diggers, she was horrified to the point of tears. Plus she later married a poor Englishman named John Brooke despite Aunt March’s objections and when the Aunt referred to Meg's boyfriend as a gold digger... she went all "NO U!!", told the old cranky lady to shut her trap, and told John that they should marry ASAP.

So yeah, Meg did want to marry into money for a while, but it’s... not really like this. And holy crap, can someone put a fucking muzzle on Jo so she’ll stop being such a fucking rude, annoying, smug little BITCH?! I don’t remember her ever treating Meg like this in the books.

Saw this artwork on twitter, I thought the art style was very nice - at first the only thing that caught be off guard was the caption ("chaotic good/chaotic evil trans power couple") but then, looking through. Well.

Anyone else noticing how often they're handed characters who are already ugly and then normalize their features in the same images where they've fuglied everyone else up? Characters like Junkrat in particular more often than not come out looking like generic anime boys that you wouldn't recognize if not for the hair.

On that note, I've seen several instances of them taking his already diverse body type (six and a half feet of l a n k) and making him a generic wristless fatass.

On the mental side, he's representation for the ""neurodivergent"", aaand they minimize his issues to "sometimes sets things on fire" and "occasionally yandere"? I've seen youtube arguments insisting that he's autistic as well (nevermind that he looks like the poster child for adults with Fetal Alcohol Syndrome, going back to normalizing facial features).

They really don't seem interested at all in celebrating existing diversity.

Junkrat is a special case, he a skinny white psychopath so he gathers a ton of fangirls who draw him ultra hot and insist he did nothing wrong (a la Joker). These fans also overlap with the sjw crowd, who also draw him just as hot but insist Junkrat is trans/gay/autistic/etc and fucking Roadhog.

So yeah, really nobody likes Junkrat cause "he is diverse", only cause he is kinda evil so he is hot. Tumblr only beautifies the ugly characters they want to fuck, and uglifies pretty characters for the sake of "progressiveness".

There's a couple things that draw Tumblr fangirls to make their art.

1. It has to be a fairly popular and accessible property. That means that the characters have to look appealing, and the plot and subject matter can't be too challenging or "out there." It can be weird, but not too weird. A freeware RPG like OFF can get extremely popular on Tumblr, but a similar freeware RPG like Space Funeral or Barkley, Shut Up and Jam: Gaiden won't have that same type of fanbase.
2. There has to be at least one character that is enough of a generic guy to be made into something more sexually desirable. Going off the example of OFF, you have The Batter, who's basically just a black-and-white old timey baseball player. There was a while, at the peak of the game's popularity, that there was a ton of lewd art of him. Both Space Funeral and BSUaJ:G lack that kind of character, with the main protagonists being a fat, crying child in yellow striped pajamas and Charles Barkley, respectively.
3. The property has to be either currently relevant or it's a part of an ongoing franchise. Something like The X-Files or Twin Peaks does have a strong fanbase on Tumblr, and I still see a lot of fanart related to it, but because the majority of the material is over two decades old, there's not a lot of fanart with the SJW treatment where characters are racebent or made transgender.
4. The property cannot be overly violent, sexual, or scary. SJWs don't tend to like horror movies very much, especially older ones.

Those are just things I've noticed. They're not hard and fast rules but if there's a thing you like that fits any of these criteria, odds are there's a Tumblr fanbase for it that stamps their political agendas all over it.
