That's her hairstyle at the end of the series, but I'm guessing long hair is too heterosexist. Short hair reads as more STRONG LESBIAN and Tumblr and twitter are for whatever reason pretty uptight about there being one butch and one femme to a f/f couple, like Korra and Asami for example. To be fair there is a difference between being mildly disappointed by a piece of media you usually enjoy and going apeshit over something you find offensive. I would freely admit to being a tad more invested than the causual observer, but that’s just my vice.

All these "radicals" want is for the main characters in their favorite billion-dollar corporate franchises to become chicanx demigirls, played by all the millionaire tokens from Laverne Cox's brunch club. And by the nature of who they are (overeducated failchildren of upper middle class families), SJWs won't demand much more than that or act on it. They're not rebels or a threat to much of anything.
