Since June is Pride month, I think I'd bring to light how Mulan and Joan Of Arc are somehow related to transgenders.

Never mind the fact that women crossdressing to fight in wars was done time and time again when women in many societies historically couldn't fight. Neither is a mentally ill person wanting to dress up and harm their body. Though I guess you could make the argument that Joan of Arc may have been mentally ill for hearing "voices" of long dead Saints.

And here's a book with an eyecatching title:

Oh man, people saying that Joan of Arc was actually trans because she refused to wear a dress in prison is the dumbest shit.
The reason why Joan of Arc continued to wear a man’s military clothing instead of women’s clothing was not because she identified as a man, but because the clothes prevented her from being raped by her captors.

How did it prevent rape, you ask? Well, back then men would wear clothes under their armor to (assumedly) prevent chafing or other nasty things that happen when you are fighting for your life in up to 110 pounds of metal. They didn’t want their shirts riding up or pants falling down in the midst of battle, so they began adding a lot of laces and fasteners to the shirts and pants to keep them together while they were fighting.

Her outfit, according to descriptions by her captors as well as what we can peice together from historical armor, had two layers of hosen secured to the doublet by dozens of cords. There was also a layer of rugged leather attatched to the doublet by many cords.

After everything was fastened and laced up, it would have been an utter pain in the ass for any would-be rapist to undo it, doubly so if she was struggling. It wasn't foolproof, of course, but it would sure as shit make it harder and it was the only option she had.

Because of the fact that she was a proud virgin and defiling her would be a blow to the French morale, you can bet there were probably multiple attempts to rape her. This would have given her even more of an incentive to refuse to wear a dress.
So yeah, Joan of Arc wasn’t trans. She was a smart, practical, brave woman, and no amount of headcanoning will ever change that.

Overwatch was a mistake...no, I'm serious.

How long would it take for the developers to make this canon since there are many people (or seemingly) doing this to McCree? S76 did nothing and was made gay for representation.
In the end it will not matter. Analwatch will keep being SJWs playground as the playerbase slowly dies because there are so many SJWs with enough attention span to keep playing that shit and the only thing keeping the game afloat is SFM porn animations. Blizz knows this and they will not stop making female characters so they stay somewhat relevant

Has anybody else heard of Spritecranbirdie / Birdie? They used to have an ED article but I think it got taken down. I found someone who tries to copy their art style to a T which is unfortunate since it's a...really ugly style lol. They drew Terry from LISA the Painful recently.

Maybe I'm just exceptional and can't tell the difference between a fat fetishist or shitty "diverse" art

It’s amazing how they can be sexist without meaning to. “Wow, a woman fighting like a man? She... MUST WANT TO BE A MAN!”

But I agree Li Shang probably was bisexual or something

They want to break down "gender stereotypes" while still conforming and enforcing them anyways.
Bisexual Shang is a pretty big

Oh any Avatar fans here? Or anyone read the follow up comics? I saw this screenshot being passed around.
TL;DR: A show that already draws inspiration from "POC cultures" (Native American and East Asian) isn't diverse enough. So I'm adding all other types of Asians and black folks in the mix without any explanation! Oh and Bollywood doesn't exist.

Oh, these people can go fuck themselves. Mulan actually saved China while wearing a dress during her duel with Shan Yun, if she was a trans dude SHE WOULDN'T HAVE DONE THAT. It'd be incredibly insulting too, since that would send the horrible message that trans people cannot be themselves at what's supposed to be the best moment of their goddamn lives.

Also, it's racist and misogynistic as fucking HELL to take an old and beloved Chinese story that Chinese girls (often looked down for being girls) have adopted as their own and twist it into a "BUT MUH PRESHUS TRANS BOI LOL LOL" charade.

God, I'm not even Chinese but these people piss me off. Mulan being a woman was a core part of her whole story and these people are both misogynistic (for erasing Mulan's womanhood on what's basically whims) and transphobic (for slapping trans labels on a tomboyish girl on, again, whims).

Lol! CIS PEOPLE RUIN EVERYTHING!1!!

I honestly feel kinda sorry for the actual dysphoric people being demonized and even being called "transphobic" by transtrenders for making them look bad on the internet, and then these types of people wonder why they always get shit on

Also lol, "cis people ruin everything in the comments." Were those supposed ""cis people"" other trans users calling you out on your hypocrisy and negative speech towards them?

So yeah, Joan of Arc wasn’t trans. She was a smart, practical, brave woman, and no amount of headcanoning will ever change that.

I just came across an article trying to describe transphobia in the trail of Joan Of Arc. The people who wanted Joan Of Arc dead likely used Cross dressing (among other "crimes") to add fuel to the fire to "justify" ending her life. The fact that one of her main "crimes" was also for being a "witch" (despite to my knowledge not showing any "supernatural" abilities aside from saying she heard divine voices.. which is what many saints and ultra religious people say) really says it all. She was a threat and "needed" to be stopped. I also highly doubt our modern concepts of "transgender" and "transphobia" should be applied to a peasant woman who lived 600 years ago.

Whether or not you accept that Joan of Arc might have been trans, it is clear that transphobia was central to Joan’s trial. The argument being made by the English court was, essentially, that a person cannot and should not be transgender. Joan refused to confirm all the English’s transphobic biases. Joan was ultimately killed on these grounds. This suggests that whether or not modern historians call Joan of Arc transgender, it seems as though the medieval court considered Joan transgender enough to die for it.

SJWs and trans activists ALWAYS say that "clothing has no gender". That wearing pink, dresses, jeans and muscle shirts doesn't mean your a tranny.

But then if clothes have NO "gender" then why is cross dressing and wearing clothes typically used by the opposite sex seen as a go to sign for someone being a tranny? Like the outrage over the "transman" that Scarlett Johansson was suppose to play but was more then likely just a butch lesbian.

I remember Mulan being just as uncomfortable posing as a man as when she was dressed up for the matchmaker at the beginning of the movie (this is especially apparent in the “Girl Worth Fighting For” bit). If she was actually trans, you’d think she’d be more confident and feel good about herself while she was pretending to be male.

In 5 months we'll be getting hot takes on why Elsa from Frozen 2 wearing pants in the 1800s means she's a transgender ICON.
