I have to say this is the ugliest portrayal of Kirishima I have ever seen and I have seen a lot of them. They all look terrible, don't get me wrong but man his mouth looks like one of these things:

It's been heavily implied in the comic and outright stated in spinoff materials that low-ranking members of the caste system (red-bloods being at the very bottom) can never amount to anything in their life. Alternian society is made to be as oppressive as possible to anyone who isn't born a certain rank in order to prevent revolutions from happening, at least two of which have happened (and then snuffed out) in its history. Even down to the biology of the trolls, lowbloods are short-lived and seen as expendable, while the longer-lived highbloods can outlive them tens of dozens of times over. It would be not only treasonous, but also impractical to let a bottom-of-the-barrel individual have any kind of administrative power at all.

Rust bloods live about 20 human years, why would anyone promote them that high?

The new Fire emblem has several darker skin colors, not black just darker than the pale white of most.
I know for sure if I were to search on tumblr I could bring back some shocking stuff but I am enjoying the game so far so don't want to ruin it yet.

Most of the art art I've seen of the game on tumblr is usually pretty good and doesn't have too much tumblr art going on. The most I've seen is they really like to darken Claude quite a bit when it's established that he's mixed with a presumably white mother and darker father. This also a few people who'll draw him with Male Byleth but given that he was originally going to be a Bi romance option before it was cut it's not shocking.

Was he? I only heard people screeching that her HAD to be a Bi Option because he's OMG SO BI-CODED and GRABS BYLETH'S HAND DIFFERENTLY ACCORDING TO GENDER, but nothing about actual game data actually confirming it.

(I also ask because I remember people LYING about similar things when Fates was released, straight-up saying that Azura and Silas were the real bi options rather than Niles and Rhajat... and then some people checked on the game files and found zero evidence about it)
