I almost prefer the edgy warriors fanart of the mid 00's-mid 10's, where all the cats were crying and bleeding and had bangs. Years ago there was an official warrior cats forum/message board that I used as a kid, and it's funny to think back on because discussing homosexuality and having homosexual characters was against the rules for being inappropriate. It's a cheap go-to replacement for a personality. Lots of Tumblrites were/are into the Space UwU Galaxy Print aesthetic. It's the same reason why that one shirt with the alien on it is so popular.
