I think it has so many likes because as of pride 2019 it went kind of viral on twitter to make the "Me vs Other girls and Virgin Vs Chad" as gay couples I thought it was kind of cute and liked it but eventually it got annoying real quick I'm so glad i'm not on twitter anymore to see this crap it just pisses me off especially sense way better artists on twitter don't get this much recognition and always get harassed but apparently artists like her don't

Not sure how it started but I know when. It's all started when the actors for the "Harry Potter and the cursed child" stageplay were announced and they casted a black actress to play Hermione. After that outrage, people saying Hermione is white why is she black here, J.K. Rowling said she never mentioned Hermione was white in the books (spoiler she did), so artist started drawing Hermione as black and everyone (except for Ron, Malfoy and Luna) as some minority.

Which is hilarious in how Tumblr tries so hard to be woke they circle back into old fashioned racism.

I've seen a lot of people bitching about this figure, though I don't know WHY this one in particular, or why they've taken this long to notice the whole Horror Bishoujo line. Something about "Wahhh wahh, she doesn't look like the CANON Beetlejuice!!" though the whole point of these figures is to turn ugly horror movie men into cute anime girls.

It also still doesn't make any sense, considering Harry is a near direct male-line descendant of the Peverell family, which was already present during Medieval Britain. I say near only because it was the granddaughter of Ignotus Peverell who married into the Potter family, which after which there would presumably have been a direct male line for the Potter name to remain in place.

Now, I'm no expert, but I don't think there would have been many Indians around in Medieval Britain, nor do I think there would be a signifficant amount of such traits left after so many generations even if there was. At most, James could possibly be half or part Indian via his mother or a grandmother, but even that is unlikely, realistically.
