Generally my criticisms of her character design in her pilot can be summed up to four things since these criticisms can be applied to most of the characters in the cast:

1. WAY too much visual clutter

True, but your designs aren’t much better. There are so many unnecessary details in these designs that would be so hard to animate. “Veronica” is probably the worst example of this, from her weird eyelashes to her antennae. What’s the point of the gradient on “Angelo’s” arms? Or Alastor’s weird horns?

2. An overuse of similar color palettes for majority of the characters AKA the eye bleeding pinks and reds

I think the colors sets the tone of Hell pretty well and adds some visual homogeneity. The colors here aren’t too bad but could be less muddy.

3 .Same face/body syndrome

Again, not completely wrong. I don’t think the same face thing is accurate but the same body thing is. However, I also think their weird, stick thin bodies adds a creepy Tim Burton quality to the design which fits the intended tone of the show.

4. Time period in which some characters died in weren’t readable

Angel Dust died in the 40s and I think his outfit really screams that when you add the hat:

“Angelo” looks like a drug dealer on some cheesy 80s cop show. Vaggie was supposed to die in 2014, so why is “Veronica” dressed like someone on the Mary Tyler Moore show? How many girls in 2014 were wearing these weird furry ulster coats and berets?

I didn’t even like Hazbin Hotel but these arrogant art fags who think they can do better than people with years of training annoy me. Especially when they barely have a grasp of drawing fundamentals (seriously, the anatomy is atrocious).

Like how they managed to make the already pretty terrible and busy designs of HH into something worse. Only things I really like about the redesigns is that Angel Dust has more spider-like features and the colors are less of an eyesore but it’s so painfully generic.

Also I think censoring the words is to prevent it from popping up in searches? Still pretty redundant when you include it perfectly fine in the desc. and tags however.

-the colors here would combine poorly with the overall aesthetic of the show. Unless you wanna screw it over completely, it's not gonna work
-how on god's good earth is a drug-addicted pornstar gonna have a dad-bod?
-girls in the 21st century do not dress like cricket girl over here
- most of the main cast (charlie being an exception) are supposed to be dead people, so wouldn't it make sense for the designs to be more human based
- more nitpicky complaint but why did they take away alastor's strawberry pimp look? if you ask me it has some sort of charm to it

did this person watch the pilot at all?

I personally think alastor's has some potential? I like the whole idea of him being some sort of weird deer demon even if it doesn't make sense, maybe if he had the same outfit and color scheme. Then again I just really like deer so who knows

In all honesty, I actually did really like the pink and red color palette the pilot had. I know it's probably just me, but it had a really nice and colorful look to it when compared to most adult shows as of late, having palettes akin to real life (see: Family Guy, Bob's Burgers, etc.). What I honestly like about most of Viv's characters was how each of them looked different, compare Charlie and Alastor if you will. Redesigns like these take away that charm and replaces it with actual sludge, like you're trying to make the original look bad.

Jesus Christ, at least Charlie's original design carried a sorta hotel owner aesthetic-

Oh boy do these redesign suck. I have similar issues with Hazbin Hotel but these miss the mark so bad.

I think biggest issue is that back rounds and characters are too similar. HH is mostly fine line animation and has skinny characters, not a problem in itself, but it's very fast based animation, lots of cuts, multiple thing happeng at same time and fast movents, and the backrounds use the same colors and line weight, it's hard to follow the story. I honestly had watch many scenes multiple times before noticing important things like picking up main characters and what they were doing.

As far the characters designs go I think they should pick few details for each that let's them stand out rather than cramming everything into everbody. Worst is probably the bartender can thing but Angel Dust is just excellent example what I mean. He has extra arms, wierd legs, very differently colored eyes, gold tooth, stripes, dots, different color dots, heart back of his head, fuzzy "boobs", a bow, a choker, cloves and high contrast color palette. That just too much going on, witch is a shame because it takes away from his really fun body language. Eye part especially bothers me because there two cyclopses and and an eyepatch girl in the cast. There is simply no reason to him have extra wierd eyes to take away from them. His eyes also extremely high contrast witch doesn't serve his flirty expressions or body language.

This is supposed to be my homeboy Joshua Graham and Ulysses. Why on earth the artist would think an extremely minimalistic, non-flamboyant mormon would wear an outfit like that is beyond me.

Also, these are by the same artist, who said they're commissions. Someone paid actual money for this low-effort, disgustingly colored shit.

That single nostril and fucked up cheek. The artist has a lot of technical skill with the background, coloring and lighting, but it seems like they have no idea how to draw a face at a 3/4th view.

This artist a really hateful person and constantly shares misinformation about other content creators (youtubers and artists mostly, one of the "PewDiePie is a nazi" and "Hazbin Hotel bad because creator" people). He mostly draws redesigns and blackwashes characters (even the not white ones). I might share some of his Tumblr rants and shit-talks later but I don't feel like editing rn lol.

I took twenty-fucking-seven screenshots from his tumblr account and I could've taken a lot more but after I spent 30 minutes on his blog I got sick and gave up (also he should archive his stuff better because damn it was hard to look for anything there). Anyway enjoy!

The Cookie Run fandom is full of crazies and general loons so I'm not surprised in the slightest this person is like this, but I could've sworn I've seen this person under a different handle before.

Also calling somebody a "pedo" solely for using the term loli and sharing somewhat risque stuff in a public Discord server with kiddies/teens is retard.ed, I get where the concern is coming from in situations like that but the CR tag was brim full of young adults starting shit with each other so I don't get why these people suddenly pull the "Think of the kids!" excuse when almost the entire fanbase is full of extremely bitter and vile NEETs with nothing better to do but harass more successful people.
