Speaking of, why hasn’t anybody bothered making a Destiny thread considering how many times she’s been brought up here as of recently? There was some minor interest in the Request and Resource thread so I doubt it would hurt to give it a shot.

The more and more I look as these redesign's and edits the more it confirms that people like this do not understand character design one bit I could literally go on an hour rant about the Fairy Tail designs especially with Natsu but I'd just end up rambling

If you showed me that art and told me it was a demonstration at how people wouldn’t like Edelgard if she was a man, I’d believe you. But then I look at that poorly-contrasted Dorothea and I start to realize just how much the artist is likely repressing their heterosexual urges.
Conversely, I shudder to see their actual male character designs, and how their Yaoi goggles will fuck up their work.

at least you can tell dorothea is a woman. but yeah, edelgard looks like a man. either way I don't hate buff women but edie's just not one of them. thought that was obvious too, considering how stick-thin her arms look in pretty much all of her official art.Their other art seems to indicate they're just really uninterested in the female form (and ofc they're a lesbian lol.) Very obvious they never learned the basics and jumped straight into "muh style"

Edie’s 5’4 and petite in all forms of the word. None of the girls are necessarily buff, but they should have at least tried to make them look like the character with visible musculature.
On a related note, here’s a picture of a buff Catherine to show 3H girls can be designed as much without creating a man.
