Progressives and SJWs latching onto Mob Psycho of all things is hilarious to me because one of the recurring themes of the show is growing up and accepting that you're not special. It also encourages people to work out and improve themselves to become respected. I guess it's like TLA where it's a well written show primarily aimed at children with a lot of comedy, so the overgrown children of tumblr like it while completely ignoring the themes that disagree with them.

To be fair He-Man 2002 reboot had more boyish Adam and it worked just fine. Actually made more sense that secret identity being secret in there than the orginal.

Fujos. Also, at the time there weren't a lot of choices, considering the group consisted his grandpa, his grandpa's friend, and the adult French guy. Which left Kakayoin, another high school student that was handsome in relation to the artstyle.
