Somehow, destroying entire cities and fucking over small business owners is the way to somehow get the police to suddenly not exist, rather than give the guaranteed all-white jury a "reason" to acquit the piece of shit cop that killed George Floyd and increase police presence in the affected towns.

Drawing cartoon pictures are the only thing these people can do that feels like their making a change. Getting those twitter likes off of a picture of a transgender super mario waving the communist flag on top of a dead police officer is a big change in their small, narrow view of the world.

I still don't understand how people can be making art like this for an obscure anime/manga from the 80s (and the just as obscure sequel anime/manga). I get that using popular shows nets points purely from how popular it is, but I barely know anyone who has even heard of Ginga, let alone seen it.
