Why does Tumblr have an obsession with vitiligo?

  • Suicide Girl model and America's Next Top Model contestant have it, spread on Tumblr, that's why.

Magical Warrior Kiwi/Peridot Heart when?
Kinda late but so you have wished it, so shall it be.
I spent way too much time on a joke. She's basically Kiwi-chan x Mahou Shoujo.
magicalwarriorkiwi.png

I can't draw cutesy/mahou shoujo outfits for shit.

What is it with these people and terrible Stone Ocean art? Whenever I see this kind of Jojo art, it's either Golden Wind (recent, memeable anime, sure) or Stone Ocean.
Eh, for part five like you said, it's the most recent part to have an anime, and a dub at that. Part six has a female MC and a sizable female cast too.

I know I'm very late on the cookie run talk, but I was checking the forums because I'm trying to do something in-game, and I found this at the top of Plum Cookie's page: View attachment 1376671
Just what is up for debate? I guess he looked vaguely feminine when he was younger but they use he/him for him in the game. Being a Cookie Run player is suffering incarnate.

What even is Cookie Run? All I've seen from it is discourse, nothing about what's actually in the game.

It's a infinite running game where you play as a cookie escaping from a witch's(?) house. It's a cute and simple game that, for some reason, got taken over by dyed hair multi pronoun SJWs online.
Basically this, you can compete in tournaments or general trophy races, or compete against teams via guilds, but most of the drama comes from danger-hairs crying that all the children characters are nonbinary.

If you think the discource over that character's gender was bad, just look at what happened with DJ Cookie.

My favorite Cookie Run gender discourse would be over Dark Choco Cookie
dc.png
At the time he was added to the game, a cookie's very short in-game description was the only place their gender could be referenced from, and his description only referred to him as "Dark Choco Cookie" with no pronouns at all. Being the way they are, the fandom decided this was Nonbinary Coding and Dark Choco Cookie was a strictly They/Them Nonbinary and using any pronouns for him was bad and transphobic(of course, he can still be an nb lesbian though, because calling a supposedly genderless character a lesbian doesn't count as making them a woman).

Where shit hit the fan is that later, the developers of the game added a story arc to the game where Dark Choco Cookie was referred to as "he" by the characters in game, which solidified that he was actually male, and the fandom lost their minds. Devsisters had the audacity to take a character that was never referred to with any pronouns in a singular paragraph of information and suddenly give them pronouns when they're fleshed out further? Monsters. There were people who legitimately acted like this was the worst thing ever and that the developers came into their house and personally took away their right to exist because they couldn't project their identity onto this drawing of a cookie man. Some even demanded Devsisters apologize and take it back.

And that's just what happened with this guy.

Oh for fucks sake I remember this, this whole process repeated for Rougefort, Cinnamon, Raspberry, and Cream Unicorn. Everyone still is adamant all 4 I mentioned are "they/them nonbinary only!!" and the fan wikia pages all say so I'm pretty sure, even though Japanese versions refer to them as male or (imagine my shock) they're just dudes with long hair.

Gonna spoiler, but these are the four that I mentioned in order

It's so telling how sexist most tumblr tards are that the men w/long hair or feminine color schemes = not actually dudes. I remember w/Rougefort's release it was the same "issue" as Dark Choco. He's a jewel thief criminal and his whole shtick is being "mysterious" so ofc they'll use non-specific pronouns, but speds can't understand that.
Cinnamon's deal was the hair and magic being the reason he's nonbinary?
Raspberry has long hair and a crush on another cookie (who is female) so he is either a "Nonbinary Lesbian" or a "He/Him Lesbian"
Cream Unicorn is just feminine so obviously not A Real Man according to Tumblr.

But that's the ones I've been most in the know for, I know there are even older characters (as far back as I think 2014) where people screeched about gender. specifically for characters meant to be children (see Peppermint and Pancake).

So a whole lot of tism for a mobile game.

A bit off topic, but I honestly really like the colors used for Raspberry Cookie? They're very pleasing for his design! :heart-full:

This isn’t anything new, shit like this happens in the CR fandom 99% of time where virtue signaling nimrods eat each other alive in the process of trying to claim characters are LGBT+ / minors when they’re clearly not a majority of the time.

Although this is the 2nd time I’ve seen the “closed comments due to gender discourse’’ banner on the wiki, is there any other incidents revolving this? I know there was one involving Dark Choco Cookie but that might’ve not been him.

There are a few character pages where it is banned to comment gender, a lot where it's specified the character is male or was forced to be labeled nonbinary after enough shrieking.

Please tell me the devs have never listened to these screeching loonies and changed their game because of them. This is fucking ridiculous, it's some random south korean phone game for kids, what the hell.
Fear to think what would happen if these morons got their hands on things like Neopets and Club Penguin.

They never listen to the people who screech about sexuality and gender thankfully, they only listen really to people who complain about gameplay/app issues.

Much respect to them, pandering to the radical leftist demographic only lowers the quality of your game.

Oh my god, cookie run. If I wasn't so lazy, I'd start the thread myself... there's so much on Twitter and tumblr.
