Yes, and Edd is the creator who passed away from leukemia years ago. I was under the impression Edd asked the others to finish off the arc he'd been working on up until his death, and for it to end there. On top of that, one of the cast members originally left because he didn't like people getting into his personal business. I wonder how he feels about this kind of shit involving him and his dead friend:

Years ago, and God I wish I could find it, I saw a fanfiction about Paul McCartney being visited by John Lennon's ghost, and gay feelings and sex ensued. I didn't read it and didn't save it, so it's lost to the sands of time. Even looking for the most degenerate fanfiction to laugh at, I couldn't bring myself to read it.

This is infinitely worse. Everyone credits Egoraptor (rip) and Oney and Psychicpebbles and others for old Newgrounds greatness because they're still around. Edd doesn't get nearly the credit he deserves anymore, because "these darn zoomers" likely don't know who he is. And now this is his legacy.

I hate the internet, man *sigh*

I'll give you an even worst case. A Japanese erotic-horror mangaka, named Uziga Waita adapted Junko Furuta's torture and eventual murder as you probably guessed it, as an erotic-horror manga. It's some very gruesome shit I don't recommended looking up the manga, but if anyone interested, just read the Wikipedia page about the murder. If I remember correctly, the parents of Junko Furuta sued the mangaka later on.

Pretty sure one of the IRL guys (I think the one who wears a red hoodie?) had to disappear from the internet as a result from being harrassed by crazy fangirls that wanted to see him screwing the other dudes instead of being with his girlfriend/wife (who also got harrassed). Hell, I think Ed's friends are all just as against the fandom doing what they do.

TL;DR: people that "ship" real people are part of the scum of this Earth.

You know, I think he actually went a bit light on the content in that manga. From my understanding, he did that particular one not for erotic purposes but as something more serious. I recall reading a note about it, but it’s been some years since I read that story - on account of how tragic it is. But he’s hardly the first creator to adapt Junko’s tragedy.

And just to note it was also a part of a collection of stories based on true events.

Basically they wanted to tell the story and not sugarcoat it. And the sad fact of the matter is a lot of her torture was sexual so people, of course, are going to claim any instance of sex or rape is intended to be arousing/erotic. Even when the author is clearly playing it for horror, people are going to claim it’s meant to be arousing. That’s happened in basically everything involving sexual violence that I have ever read, ever.

Do you happen to have anything about him being sued tho? I looked, but I didn’t find anything.

EDIT: So I did find that her parents did sue the parents of one of the people involved in her murder. Perhaps that was what you were thinking of?

It looks good, but looking at it more shows some stuff like: Why is Shaggy's skin and nose oddly red? Why does Scooby has small eyes? Where are his expressions, his alertness? Why does he looks so old? What's wrong with his legs?

Not even his realistic movie version has hanging jowls and its still Scooby and expressive.

To be fair, everything Worthi draws has the exaggerated small eyes/features. He's trying to copy the Rankin-Bass stop-motion Christmas movies, and I think that's where it comes from. I actually like his work, but I can see why it's off-putting.

You are right. Maybe it's just hard for me to tell the difference between his regular erotic-horror stuff and this one, since he is know for making some messed up manga's. And to be fair, it was a while ago since I've read this one so my memory of this might be a bit messy when it comes to it (but it's not like I want to re-read it or anything lol).

A friend of mine told me about the mangaka being sued by Junko's parents, not sure if they still have the source for that but I'll try to ask them and edit this if they can remember anything about it.
