Oooh, man. I wish I was recording it. I showed that little "comic" to an artist friend while we were in a voice call and she went ballistic about how that person put "aesthetic" in quotes. The line that really stuck with me was something along the lines of:
Art IS aesthetics! Don't pretend you're drawing flabby-ass people just because you're a good person or a "non-aesthetic" artist. You're drawing this shit because you like the aesthetics and you think they make YOU look good! But you won't admit it because you're a fat little bitch who's trying to cope by saying '"oooh, I'm not like other artists!'" like the shut-in girl no one liked in high-school because she kept LOUDLY insisting she was SOOOOOO glad she wasn't "like these other girls"!
Yeah, she wasn't pleased. And she's a fairly overweight girl herself. I guess the difference is that she doesn't feel guilty drawing hot people. She's also trying to drop some pounds and doing pretty well at it. Maybe not wallowing in your flaws could help you overcome them but don't tell that to SJWs.

I can agree with the sentiment that seeing characters in various media that look like you or share experiences with you can be nice. I recall being excited at seeing a black character in things as a child just because it wasn't that common to see more than a couple in some shows. But I by no means think that seeing myself in something is owed to me, and if it matters so much that I see characters that have a resemblance to me, I'd rather follow and appreciate artists and show runners that do it because they want to and not because they had their arm twisted by online social pressure and churn it out halfheartedly to meet a quota.
I also misread the first slide as "make your own art" and thought for a second it was going to promote drawing whatever the fuck you want regardless of what other people think, ugly or not, but of course its doing the opposite.

Even as i don't like how or what someone does something, at least i'm not such a self centered prick to tell them they should cater to my tastes/sensibilities/political bullshit. People who go on a witch hunt against artists because of what they draw or their style are too self important to look beyond their massive guts.
Plus, i'm still learning to draw and i've been repeated long enough to always draw what you like and what you find appealing. It's all based in your personal taste and if you did otherwise you would end up hating what you make. I know there are good things to learn from making differen things and trying with different approaches to what you have always made, but that is no excuse to make things you would not like. Because it boils down to that: do what you want the way you like. You will find people that like your style and others that will not. Should you care? No unless you admit you still have much to improve. But hey, these people will never admit that.
Self improvement is beyond them. Why should they do it? After all, they are perfect and good in every single way. Plus, if they were to do that it would require some real effort and struggling with the fact that you have a very long road ahead of you. And they don't want to deal with that shit. They just want some asspats, bruv.

If these people want representation, they should make representation(which you can see they're doing). But no, it isn't enough; they need other people to draw people of every wavelength color under the rainbow. Frankly, i don't give too much of a shit if people draw fat seal people with ugly asymmetrical faces; more power to them, because it means i have more material to make fun of.
Perhaps because they haven't had enough reposts on twitter for their grotesque flesh beasts or whatever, it makes them feel entitled to police other artists to change their art to fit their personal aesthetic tastes. There's already artists that do that plentifully, this thread alone should tell you that

I just finished 3 not too long ago, pretty sure they are reading waaaaay too into things there.
I never got any kind of vibe that Mine loved Kiryu in any way. The whole point of his character was about how bonds make people who they are and that he never had any kind of bond like Kiryu did, like with family or close friends, and didn't understand that people can help each other selflessly. His whole life revolved around money, so he saw how others used people to get what they wanted. Emphasized by the ending when he thinks his secretary is phoning him because she cares about his actual wellbeing, but then she only wants to know about some kind of business deal he has to decide on. Thats why he becomes a chairman with the yakuza too, they have the bonds he has always been seeking.

Similarly, you aren't entitled to people calling you beautiful or finding you attractive. Especially if you're trying to excuse unhealthy self-destructive behaviors like consistently eating badly and pushing "fat pride" because you refuse to work out or change your diet. Trying to shit on Kuzco is really stupid, too. Yeah, sure. He was transformed into something as punishment for his actions and he was "technically" a POC character. But every single character in the story was POC. Even Izma was born and raised in the pre-Colombian Inca kingdom the story is set in. I see no praise from these idiots for Pacha, the genuinely hard-working, well-meaning and long-suffering family man POC.
It doesn't matter to them. All they care for is the skin-deep and the negative. Any positive examples that don't fit their personal narrative get discarded in favor of "WYPYPO CAN'T/SHOULDN'T WRITE POC".

The thing is that these people cannot see that their lifestyle is terrible. As a fatty myself, i know i'm unhealthy and i'm doing efforts towards losing weight. It's tiresome and progress is slow, but you should know that attaining your goals takes time. But i don't want to feel validated and i don't want anyone to do so. Not even my friends.
These people are lazy, and they fully know their lifestyle is wrong. Every time they see those pictures they don't like, they are reminded of the bitter truth that they are unhealthy and that they should make an effort to lose weight. But they need validation in the form of being surrounded by pictures that make them feel as if there is nothing wrong.
