Why are "characters coming out as trans" comics always so off-putting to me?

For me its because they always come off as very self-serving/ignorant of everyone else around them (feelings etc). Like, having a child, raising it as a boy/girl for however many years, then having to get used to that child suddenly saying they are the opposite gender, changing their name etc is not something people can just suddenly get used to and accept (at least, I would personally struggle for a while). Forgetting the new name, pronouns and what-not would be very easy, but instead of realising that and just gently correcting or working out a better system for getting used to it, they reeeee and act like assholes, which obviously just causes even more friction and less willingness to accept.

That one's not just any SJW drawing, that was spat out from a Picrew. You can use it to make your own dreadful original donut steel character.

This thing has all options with a hint of blood hidden under a trigger warning, an entire deluxe selection of burkas and wheelchairs, and fake gender flags and pins galore. It's an SJW art generator. Shame, really, because the style is...definitely strange, but if you tone out the obnoxious stuff it can look a bit cute in a goofy vintage way. Most of the clothes are pretty weird, but some of them are at least funny in an "shucks, the 80s were so crazy" way. Such squandered potential here.


I mean that's not too bad.

Because with most “art” that has to have a form of an identity like trying to gaywash all regular, straight characters as if they’re trans and other made up genders, they also accompany that “art” with a lot of words.

Lots and lots of words that even have nothing to do with the description of said “art”.

Late to the party on this one, but I love how the only way to make Tifa appear as physically strong as she canonically is, is to turn her into a big hairy man. For all the reee-ing and whining about shit like misogyny these dumbasses really go out of their way to reinforce gender stereotypes. And this is coming from someone who likes seeing Tifa with more muscle.

While Hitler does have pretty good painting technique, I think that there are places where the perspective is off.
I think for the most part, in art school or not, artists these days usually put more effort into the rendering than the drawing aspect of art.

He's got a solid grasp of perspective when it comes to the buildings, but the people seem off to me. Honestly he probably would have made a solid architect with the proper schooling and he could have painted landscapes on the side.
