This one’s called Rebel Hearts: “In this universe, worlds are strictly monitored and controlled by the government and the C.O.P. (The Coming Out Program). Every world is populated by only one type of sexual preference (ex: “straight world”, “pansexual world”). At a certain age, children are required to declare their sexuality and they are transferred to their respective world.
In the hopes of creating a universal utopia where differences and preferences cannot be judged by anyone, three heroic teens join forces to fight against this oppressive system and bring families and friends back together.”
By students Yaritza Velazquez (IG @yavedesigns), Roya Tabrizi (IG @possiblychoopie), and Cole Johnson (IG @megalo_artist).
Every semester, we partner with the talented students in Otis College of Art and Design’s Comic Book Heroes class who write and illustrate an original comic centered around an It Gets Better Project theme - this past semester’s theme was “Pride.”
Read them all on our website.
