This was already answered, but I want to highlight on the COVID lockdown claims. Genuine isolation, especially in the long term and outside of the person's free will, is associated with brain deterioration. There are so many studies linking isolation to reduced brain matter and so forth, such as this one. There are also studies suggesting that the virus itself can interact with our brain in negative ways. People who were not in some of their most crucial years for social development were not as harshly impacted by lockdowns as Gen Z was, as a majority of Zoomers were under 21 at the time of COVID lockdowns started. It's not just people getting sucked into the wrong spaces in my opinion, but it does likely play a role.

Depends on when it happens and who the people in charge are, really. Most of these individuals are some flavor of disabled/retarded/insufferable, which would make it so that nobody would want their in their armies, but they are also weak, socially isolated, and worthless individuals who everyone has a reason to hurt both during and after the conflict and nobody would shed a tear over once they are gone. I'd say it's up to how the aftermath of the war unfolds, as in Weimar pedos got into the goverment and "artistic" circles, while in Soviet Russia everyone who slightly deviated from the ideal of an integral individual (and was not a party official) got sent to labor camps
