He also won't play games like GTA:VC without turning off the music because of the YouTube gold.
 
Shame. I really enjoyed playing mario sunshine and I would probably watch him fail it, or a tihydp. And it was all for no gain. I guess he just hates sunshine, dunno.

He doesn't hate Sunshine, he hates demonetization (it's entirely about the money).

As if that was a valid reason to postpone the playthrough.

Phil is very sour grapes about not getting ad revenue from Nintendo games. He'd shoot his own foot before playing a nintendo game that wasn't a new release. Phil was betting on people that saw the TIHYDPs watching him again (without ad block, and giving him troll cheers en masse), and thinking that these runs would somehow shrink his 'detractor' base. Nevermind that he started reading for help from chat within the first hour of play when he enforced otherwise from mods, the TIHYDPs are a smaller reason for his reputation now- he'll be down to the usual 400 viewers within the first week or two.
 
I always thought the switch to streaming was to make it so that the youtube views weren't an issue. Why is he still harping on about demonetization when he makes so much money streaming and barely anything from youtube? He's gotten rid of entire channels but he can't play a game because they get claimed by devs???

I think he is just afraid of nintendo. That he bought in the. "They are always watching you, trope."

That must be it because I can't think of any other person who could make more than 2k in one night and then bitch about youtube demonetization on videos that get less than 400 views.

He's gotta get that sweet triple dip of money out of a single playthrough.
 
So i decided to look into his stream, hes at the part where he has to diguise himself as a terrorist and he forgot to get the ak, and keeps putting the costume on...

The best part about all this... the stream chat REFUSES to help him, and hes getting frustrated everytime he looks at stream chat and they wont help him. this will make a awesome tihydp.
 
The stingray part will make him rage early on if he did play SMS. Also some of the platforming sections that doesn't include Fludd. Imagine if he tried to get 120 stars.
 
I'm a bit sad there won't be a playthrough and subsequently a TIHYDP sunshine because I was looking forward to the compilation of his inevitable racist remarks lol.

DSP intends to play Sunshine in February. It's up to us the viewers to take into account the fates of other games DSP has backburnered for multiple months and decide whether that stated intention means shit.
