God, did that shtick get old a year ago. I'm so tired of reading the very same kind of rhetoric with little variation from Pick-Up-Artists, Loveshies, Incels, Nice Guys, Redpillers, MRAs and now these clowns. I meant, I get it, they have some weird creepy mommy-issues they can connect over and it freaks me the hell out that it actually seems common enough for these communities to form over and over again.

I don't agree with a lot of bullshit coming out of what is calling itself feminism these days but if these sites show anything it's that misogyny does, in fact, still exist in western society and it's still nasty as hell.

Sometimes I wonder what it would be like if someone I knew grew up to be infamous
I used to go to school with a guy who, along with his brother, murdered a 9 month old baby. Well I say murdered, he was actually sentenced with manslaughter on the grounds that he "did not mean to cause the child serious harm" even though (and I quote the judge here) "he swung the child like a baseball bat against the fireplace and made a noise like a brick on concrete".

Kinda didn't seem real I spent 6 years of my life around this guy. Only to begin with though. As they say, time heals all wounds, and I probably haven't even thought about it for years until just now when you made me think of it.

Does make me wonder where he is now though, what he's like and how he looks. That was about 12 years ago I think, so I'm sure he will have been out of prison for a while.

I think one of the reasons these communities keep springing up is because the same dozen ar-tards will meet up on one site, discover they hate each other too, then make innumerable splinter sites their new domains. Then they all find their new sites, wash, rinse, repeat. I mean, look at Marjan Siklic: he changes blogs and sites like hats, each one with an increasingly long title he uses to describe himself. (I think he's up to "co alpha anti-modernist loveshy incel government girlfriend blogger", whatever the fuck that means)

I read the Manifesto and it's a pretty painful thing to read... the guy is so extremely full of himself, every page from beginning to end oozes extreme narcissism. It's not so much a Manifesto as it is a badly written autobiography, from his birth to right before he died, describing his life with the painfully detailed style of a special individual. His life is not at all bad; he travels the world from a young age, his mother used to date George Lucas and gets little Elliot (a huge Star Wars fan) to see a Star Wars movie premier and meet his favorite actors. He watches a lot of movies, old and new, and when he's a teenager and he's misbehaving quite a bit, his father decides to send him to Marocco with his stepmother, who's from there. They stay in an ancient Kashba that was used to shoot a James Bond movie. Pretty awesome, right? Yet all Elliot does is complain about the heat, the humidity, the food... he sees the negativity in everything, and nothing is ever good enough for him.

His grandfather is "old and boring" to him, but a little research learns us that the man was one of the first to photograph several indegenous tribes and experience, first-hand, the liberation of several Nazi concentration camps. Elliot Rodger drinks the finest wines, meets movie stars, visits sets... his father, mother and stepmother have fascinating connections, his grandparents have amazing stories to tell. And yet all he does is whine and cry about his lack of popularity. At the same time, he flat out refuses to hang out with the kids he sees as "not cool", and desperately tries to be accepted by the in-crowd. They pick up skating? He picks up skating. Blonde boy gets a girlfriend? Elliot dyes his hair blonde. The story reads as a frustrated little boy's diary, and that tone never changes... he wants to come across as this worldy intellectual, sipping wine and taking long walks through nature while pondering on the tragedy of life, but all he manages to do is come across as a perpetual whiny, spoiled child.

Only at the very end, "My Twisted World" stops being a faggy try-hard Mean Girls' style diary and becomes an actual Manifesto... but it's very half-assed. The main idea is that women suck and men ought to be in charge of them. Women choose "bad boys" over "good men" like Elliot, therefore they should be treated like cattle and devided among good men. They should be bred artificially because "sex is immoral and brings out the worst in people". The world will be lead by one Supreme Leader (Elliot). Then he goes full Tolkien... he wants to reside in a gigantic tower and, from his high and mighty Sauron-like dwelling, oversee all of humanity and ensure they "do the right thing".

Elliot then details his plans for his intended mass murder, and muses about whether or not he will be able to kill his stepmother and half-brother. He says he could probably kill them without remorse, but would be unable to kill his father because part of him still looks up to him for "being an alpha man who can get women easily". Then the diary\manifesto stops rather abruptly... he uploads his videos, mails his writings to his mother, therapist and family, and stabs to death his roommates shortly after he finishes writing.

It's not a good read, but it's very insightful in the way people like him think and operate. The mindset Elliot has is common among wizards, loveshies, "sluthate" people, PUAs, MRAs, 'incels' and other losers. The weird thing though, is that Elliot had by far the best chance of success, the best connection, the richest family, the most interesting background. He was educated, he was wealthy, he was well-traveled. And yet he cultivated a toxic mindset, undoubtedly worsened by his contact with various toxic online communities, that ended up leading to his death and those of many innocents.

And that man is these people's greatest hero. The whiniest, faggiest, douchiest motherfucker that ever lived. The guy with the world's most punchable face. He's an inspiration, almost a saint, to these people. That tells you all you need to know about SlutHate and their memberbase.

This is an excellent post, J.

It's really sad that ER is now crowned as a representative to these groups (Loveshies, Incels, etc). The only reason why he is that is because they can relate to Rodger. In my case and view as one of the dateless crowd or incel, is that I have nothing to relate to him. The fact is that I, and other dateless guys, plus ER live in entirely different worlds. ER came from money while I and the rest didn't. He had everything handed to him and resources while I still struggle day by day to obtain success. His lack of success was only attributed to his tunnel vision of what's attractive to him. I maybe and have been shallow in my teen days and guiltily in my young adults years, but I never had this much of angst and childness as Rodger did.

I understand what the Love Shy/Incel/Dateless crowd go through. I can't understand or forgive Rodger's actions. Making yourself into a monster just to make people even more afraid of people (mostly men) who are dateless, virgins, never been in a relationship doesn't help your fellow peers who have trouble in the dating world/game. Dating was never meant to be easy. I learned that lesson a while back. It's sad how today's society makes sex into a big deal driving most young people in different directions. While some handle it well and don't care others don't (which is why the LS forum, ROK and now Sluthate exists for us to talk about).

While I don't agree on all the fucked up shit they say about women and what their ideals are, I get where they're coming from. As someone who's spent most of his life bullied, belittled, suffered from gaining confidence(still do but getting better), told it's not you, it's me, you'd make a great a boyfriend for some other lucky woman but not me, you're too good for me, etc, it's easy to have these deluded ideals.

However it's hard to overcome them because if this is your regular mindset everyday, then you can't get overthem. Some people do overcome these deluded thoughts, bless them, but those who are still stuck on the past or believe in these ideals, you get threads like these about internet forum laughingstocks.

They are or only ever were just bitter because not even a loose women would want to have sex with. :neckbeard:

I feel like when you've reached the point where you're posting on all these different misogynist sites, you've kind of surrendered any hope of getting some ass in favor of stewing in your own impotent rage.

Not sure how many of those guys realize that though.

It seems to me that's largely because, regardless of the label they apply to themselves, they're basically the same people.

I mean I can't tell them apart. Not that I've looked particularly closely, but I highly doubt I'd change my assessment even if I did.

"Are you guys from sluthate.com?"
"FUCK OFF. 'Sluthate.com,' pfft. We're 'hatesluts.com.'"
"Where's 'stupidsluts.com?'"
"Over there."

A lot of this also comes down to the same kind of thinking that conspiracy theories thrive on. Basically, seeing patterns that don't really exist. Take the "nice guy" thing for instance. A behavior that in no way even suggests "I am sexually attracted to you" to a reasonable person. That, not working, to get sex. Repeatedly. This is where conspiracy theory thinking kicks in and the faulty pattern recognition in this case sees "women only date JERKS!" When this happens on enough fronts, you get the huge mess of contradictions that is MRA/redpill, with stuff like "Why won't these sluts ever have sex with me?"

This is a real problem with social media and the internets.

It provides a comforting Echo chamber for toxic mentalities where they can just go to have thier sad idealogies reinforced by others who suffer like them.

With all that reinforcement they are much less likely to find the impetus to change thier lives and they spiral down the bad path .osing what little hope they had.

Incels, virgin-web,racists, SWJ, It doesn't matter what the viewpoint is because the spiral effect is the same in the end.

One of the dangers of the web I guess.

Well it's the only thing they do have when it comes to these ideologies. No one offline is going to tolerate that shit.

This makes me wonder what these two flavours would taste like...

Goddamn this site is full of pathetic Encyclopedia Dramatica wannabes.
You saying ED isn't already filled with wannabes?

Also, I wonder how they'd feel if they found out that men also sell their services out. Would they deny it? Or would they flip their shit over this information?

Male prostitutes nearly exclusively service male clientele, and these He-Man Woman-Haters don't take too kindly to same-sex anything.

(Except lesbians. Who will have sex with them. Somehow.)

The deeper you dig, the more relevant this quote becomes:
Rose: Everyone withdraws into their own small gated community, afraid of a larger forum.
They stay inside their little ponds,
leaking whatever "truth" suits them into the growing cesspool of society at large.
Colonel: The different cardinal truths neither clash nor mesh.
No one is invalidated, but nobody is right.
Rose: Not even natural selection can take place here. The world is being engulfed in "truth."
this is the way the world ends. Not with a bang, but a whimper.
I did not know Hideo Kojima was a prophet.
