While the Sluthate spergers gave me my best entertainment on this forum, I felt kind of bad for that @sephon. For what he said, he had some severe self image issues which the hivemind of Sluthate exacerbated with their negativity and entitlement with the focus of attractiveness and facial features over anything else. That makes me a bit concerned for the insecure teenage males who stumble on the site and take it for face value.

I also couldn't help but notice that he seemed like a child. I would peg him at 13 or 14, maybe a very slow 18 year old. He has some serious developmental work to do, else he's gonna stay that way forever.

I think it's the double-edged sword of the internet. The internet is essentially the closest humanity has gotten to infinite choice. On one hand, it educates, fosters understanding, and brings people together no matter how eclectic their interests are. On the other, it makes it super easy to create an echo chamber where one's ideals are never questioned, or a place that lures in lonely people with the promise of community.

If you lack enough social nous, and you see a bunch of people agreeing with something, it's pretty likely you'll begin to believe it. And not only do you believe it, you defend other people in your community who believe it. You can't let someone trash your guys, after all.

Edit: Not anti-internet by the way, if I come off like that. It's the same for every invention that really changes the world. Some people use light bulbs for illumination, some people shove them up their ass until the EMT's get a hilarious call.

If CP is illegal, then it should be illegal to view ISIS beheadings. If you don't have consent from the person being beheaded to see his internals, then you are violating his privacy. And the children can't consent thing is pure bullshit. If a kid over 10 wants to make porn, then she wants to make porn. Kids are capable of making rational decisions. Your chances of regretting a decision you make at age 10 vs age 20 are not much different.
