I have a feeling that there's two kind of users in SH.

1. Those who are really bad people: pedophiles, misogynists, racists, psychos.
2. Teenagers and young adults who haven't gotten the luck they think they deserve and feel the vitriol from group 1 gives them justification and comfortably explains their situation.

I think most users are actually of type 2, but maybe its just me being optimistic. Some type 2 people will eventually mature and leave this shit behind. They will laugh or feel embarrassed of their previous selves. Others will start migrating into type 1 under the toxic influence of the forum. When they get older, they will be deluded, broken or extremely unhappy. Rather than embarrassment, they will feel regret.

I hold a bachelors and masters degree in electrical engineering. I would 100% give up my education for a normal social life during high school. If I had a billion dollars, I would give it all up to have had one girlfriend in high school who I could have shared my first kiss with.

Youth is the only good part of life. Getting a career and good income isn't about making the latter half of your life good; it's just about making the latter half of your life less bad. The only way to be truly happy in old age is to have had experiences in your youth that were so good, so magical, that they keep you happy for the rest of your life. If I ever have a kid, I won't give a fuck if he makes good grades or not. All that matters is that he is good looking enough to have a gf and to be respected by his peers.

I can believe that. I think other people have said it better, but it's really just people thinking that life/women/whatever owes them the "magical" experiences peddled by films and TV, then get dragged into toxic mind-sets like the Sluthaters when things don't go down that way. What they don't realise is that for the *vast* majority of people it doesn't happen/work that way but they just get over it (or never worried about it in the first place.)

This is precisely why this thread is tagged as "Website" and not "Stampede". I remember @Sanic mentioning this some pages back. I've seen many threads on Sluthate.com and the prevailing impression I get is that nobody has any fucking clue what they're really doing on that site.

Between the two groups, they tend to argue among themselves a lot. I've also seen a lot of personal attacks and dissatisfaction with the website because of this disparity.
