I love it. Just so much negative cognitive bias towards anything I'm saying just because I admitted that I posted a few threads about aesthetics on sluthate.com.

You should of hidden your power level, moron. On the subject of aesthetics, people's perspective on beauty are all unique, you don't need an art degree to know that.

Too bad they can't do surgery on your personality.
actually there is a rare form of surgery which is rumored to be the cure for sluthatedom

I don't believe in their Chad theories, ER bullshit or any other ideologies.

I believe the best reason for that is because a lot of your arguments in this thread thus far have been somewhat confusing and not specific enough. That being said, you seem like a cool guy, at least compared to the dozen Sluthaters that have appeared on our doorstep. You're a lot like @Shidoshi in many ways, a Sluthate user to turned Heel-Face in this thread.

Do you want to join us in our discussion of the more "eccentric" loveshys?
Here's some studies done on quality of life of post-op orthognathic surgery patients that assess their quality of life and markers of success:

Don't give me a bunch of links with no analysis. At least make an effort to quote from them to make it easier for someone like me to understand these articles.

Sure

Then why do you post there?

Also did you ever hear back from that job you applied to?

The only posts I've made there are about aesthetics. I was one of the first people to post a thread detailing the specifics of what orthognathic surgery was to give some of their members' "hope." I remember that somebody posted that they were going to go ER or commit suicide or something crazy.

Not a job. Waiting to see if I get crossed off the wait-list at a dental school

I agree in subjectivity of features, but there are patterns in people who are considered universally attractive.

Why there, though? I asked you this earlier - aren't there less toxic places to discuss aesthetics?

Best of luck to you! Your views are kind of weird and autistic but you seem like a pretty decent guy.

"General quality of life, assessed by means of SF-36, also revealed significant improvements in mental health six months after surgery as well as in physical aspects six weeks after surgery. Thus, orthosurgical treatment was considered effective, producing significant psychosocial and functional improvements for patients.15"

"..aesthetically impaired to the degree of having a social handicap. Improvement of facial aesthetics after surgery was associa ated with improvement of social acceptance. Still others were the victims of ridicule, as in an 11-year-old boy, who was given by his schoolmates the nickname “Boogy”, a cartoon character on Egyptian TV. The child felt embarrassed to the degree that he refused to go school. The surgery had a positive influence on the relationships with his schoolmates. Interestingly in this study, some patients reported postoperative improvement of facial aesthetics more than they reported such improvement as their motive for seeking treatment."

"Orthognathic surgery may have an impact on quality of life (Cunningham et al., 2002). At a clinical review 3 years after surgery, patients monitored by our team fill in a questionnaire addressing their opinions of the treatment result in terms of improvement in dental and facial appearance, chewing ability, speech, impact on social life, satisfaction with overall result, and whether they would re-elect surgery with their present experience (Espeland et al., 2008b). Findings among 705 consecutively operated patients appear from Tables 2–4. Totally 90.6% reported that they were satisfied with the overall treatment result, and 88.5% indicated that they would have re-elected surgery based on their present experiences. Of those expressing dissatisfaction, 47.0% stated that they would have made the same decision."

Commie shitposting aside, your obsession with this stuff is understandable but not very healthy. "Aesthetics" is not something that warrants the level of study and discussion you've devoted to it. You need to find another interest, because this stuff is neither profound nor useful.

I do discuss aesthetics on another forum called jawsurgeryforums

Sorry, comrade. This thread is about sluthate. I don't want the Commisars to come after me for going too far off-topic. But this importance that you and your friends put on sexual endeavours is a result of watching too many movies and tv shows which celebrate consumption and decadence. There's so much more to life than getting laid or being attractive.

Is the huge financial loss to have jaw surgery performed to fix minor "imperfections" really worth the risk?

A lot of the new members are from sluthate posting countless rate me! threads and "what surgery should i get ??" threads, detracting from actual discussion. Sluthate is infecting jawsurgeryforums like the plague.

All these papers deal with patients with dental malocclusions (misalignment of teeth), and none of the surgery fetishists from sluthate, as far as I know, complain about teeth problems (typical complains about their appearances are I'm only 4/10 and I look like a bird). Yes, surgery is undoubted warranted with severe cases of malocclusions, but to recommend operation to someone who are just prissy about their looks is like recommending a gluten-free diet to everyone with mild bowel problems, because such diet is good for patients with celiac disease. In other words: quackery.
