If it's not funny, it's not a joke. The word "Joke" is defined as something spoken, written or done with humorous intentions.

What you said is the same as saying "Not all circles have to be round".

You can joke about something, without much humour involved. On a side note, look at Cards against Humanity. Often the most laughter around the table is when someone plays the most shocking cards like Holocaust, Madeline McCann etc.

The crucial feature of CAH, is that you combine different phrases to make something ridiculous. The humor value is fairly apparent in the satirical nature of the game. It's nothing like Sluthate at all.

I do get some amusement out of some instances, for example when someone posts a redeeming thread about females and someone comments 'ER just turned in his grave'.

I guess it's one of those things where you have to be in club to get it.

Yeah, it's stupid and pointless, but SlutHate doesn't exact try and pretend to be a Yahoo answers equivalent for planned surgery patients and BDD sufferers. It's more of a place to vent, discuss looksmaxing and poke fun at stuff.

On a sidenote, I don't want to incite people too much, much it strikes me as kinda hypocritical that peole are posting stuff like 'wow, look how obsessed these SH'ers are at making fun of us' etc etc, but isn't that what KiwiFarms is all about? Making fun of internet communities?

That's not what it's about. If you look at the bottom it says what KiwiFarms is about. We make fun of internet eccentrics aka lolcows. Sluthate happens to be a community that has a majority population of lolcows and it's one of the few communities and not individuals that are made fun of here.

I wasn't aware of that, no. I left SH for about a month around my Easter exams and that was posted then. It looks to have only been active for a day and a half though. I didn't realise those other member enjoyed paedophilic images, but you'll see there if some argument against them.

-I found the site because I have Body Dysmorphic Disorder and depression and am seeking surgery. When you trawl through the shitposts, there is actually some solid looksmaxing information.
-I sympathise with the 'redpill' approach. I presume you guys already know what it is, but in short, it's basically looks (and money/status to a lesser degree)>all.
-It's a place to rant and vent when I get drunk.
-It gives me a good laugh. Some threads are just ridiculous, others hilarious.

It's debatable. At the end of the day, I'd rather dislike my appearance and look ok in the eyes of other, rather than dislike my appearance and look ugly in the eyes of others'.

I am currently getting counselling, but it's not all that effective. I'm too much of a cynic for it to be working atm.

I'm sure about Sephon. I mostly ignored what everyone else was posting, only focusing on my interactions. He's getting surgery right now, but he has more severe BDD than me. I personally think he looks ok.

I don't see the point in insults and dick pics. I can't make you believe that I won't, but you have my word.
