In a subsequent study, Freund confirmed the normalcy of sexual arousal to
adolescents. His subjects were 48 young Czech soldiers, all presumed to be ‘‘normal’’
and heterosexual in orientation. He showed the men pictures of children (ages 4–10
years old), adolescents (ages 12–16), and adults (ages 17–36). As expected, most of the
heterosexual men were sexually aroused by photos of both adult and adolescent
females. They were not aroused by pictures of males of any age, and were aroused at an
intermediate level by pictures of children (Freund & Costell, 1970).
This unsurprising tendency of normal heterosexual men to be sexually aroused by
adolescents was confirmed by other researchers. Like Freund, a group of researchers in
Canada was attempting to perfect physiological tools for measuring sexual arousal.
These researchers found that their instruments could distinguish between the arousal
patterns of child molesters and a control group exposed to slides of female children
(ages 5–11), but both groups showed similar arousal patterns to slides of pubescent girls
(ages 12–15) (Quinsey, Steinman, Bergerson, & Holmes, 1975).

Adolescents are often thought to be at greater risk of death during pregnancy or childbirth than women in other age groups.

But mortality risks to adolescent mothers have not been accurately quantified, and most studies tend to calculate single mortality figures for women and girls across all age groups. This paper therefore seeks to provide separate estimates of mortality risks faced by adolescent mothers.

The authors used vital registration data (when available) or nationally representative surveys from 144 countries and territories, to calculate the proportion of maternal deaths among deaths of females of reproductive age (PMDF) for each five year age group (from 15-19 to 45-49).

These estimates were adjusted to account for under-reporting of maternal mortality and deaths during pregnancy from non-maternal causes. The authors then applied the adjusted PMDFs to age-specific estimates of deaths and livebirths to calculate age-specific maternal mortality ratios (MMRs) across age groups.

An annex to the main paper provides age-specific maternal mortality estimates for all 144 countries.

This paper concludes that the excess mortality risk to adolescent mothers may be less than previously expected, and highlights the very high mortality ratios for women aged 35 and above.

Teenage pregnancies have become a public health issue because of their observed negative effects on perinatal outcomes and long-term morbidity. The association of young maternal age and long-term morbidity is usually confounded, however, by the high prevalence of poverty, low level of education, and single marital status among teenage mothers. The authors assess the independent effect of teenage pregnancy on educational disabilities and educational problems in a total population of children who entered kindergarten in Florida in 1992–1994 and investigate how controlling for potentially confounding factors affects the relation between teenage pregnancies and poor outcome. When no other factors are taken into account, children of teenage mothers have significantly higher odds of placement in certain special education classes and significantly higher occurrence of milder education problems, but when maternal education, marital status, poverty level, and race are controlled, the detrimental effects disappear and even some protective effects are observed. Hence, the increased risk for educational problems and disabilities among children of teenage mothers is attributed not to the effect of young age but to the confounding influences of associated sociodemographic factors. In contrast to teen age, older maternal age has an adverse effect on a child's educational outcome regardless of whether other factors are controlled for or not.

For example, Web MD reported a University of California study of 619 teens, 275 of whom had intercourse or oral sex during their ninth or tenth grade years, under the headline, "Teen sex may take emotional toll. Girls especially vulnerable to negative emotional aftereffects". Web MD's headline and article were not fair characterizations of the 18-month study published in the February 2007 pediatrics. In fact, the study found teens aged 15 and 16 were quite positive about their sexual experiences.Directly contradicting those who claim teen sex inexorably leads to regret, depression, and even suicide, only 2 percent (among teens who had both oral sex and intercourse) to 4 percent (for those who had only oral sex) said their experiences ahd been entirely negative. In contrast, as astounding 61 percent (oral sex), 86 percent (intercourse)m and 96 percent (both) said at least one aspect of the sex had been positive. Even though researchers gave teens only half as many positive as negative options to choose from, 8 to 20 times more felt their experience has been entirely positive. Most reported both positive experiences (led by pleasure, feeling good about oneself, and making one's relationship better) and negative ones (led by much lower levels of feeling used, feeling bad about oneself, and feeling regret). Web MD's headline, then, should have been, "Teenagers generally report positive experiences from sex." That most sexually active teens could think of at least one negative consequence, as defined by the researchers, not only failed to negate their generally positive reactions, it indicated a healthy ability to recognize the complexity of sexual experience. What sexually active adult has not experienced some bad results ... ?

What you might not know is that not 48 hours later Glaive was in our chat bragging about it. The girl was a goddamn craigslist prostitute and Glaive had set everything up, paid her to seduce him online and fly over to bang him. Glaive even made jokes that he'd "tested the goods" himself multiple times. Personally I think if a working prostitute has sex with you without disclosing that she's been paid, it's something pretty near close to rape, so I would consider Glaive a legitimate rapist for that.

But it gets worse. As soon as he's got the reins to wizardchan he starts logging IPs and tried to start auctioning them off over here. We were pretty much done with WC at that point but he was enthused with his little "wizard info scam" and pretty soon bought his position as admin here so he could start banning anyone who spoke out against it. I don't think he ever made much money off us, but the wizards quite rightly overthrew him when they found out he was playing them right from the start and he was easily a 6/10 chad who was fucking multiple girls a night using PUA tactics.
