Personality does not matter; look at the dominating culture/demographic on the United States for example. Most women just like men prefer physically attractive people. But because of the inherent unfair advantage in the biology of sex, women are almost guaranteed a sexual partner with an attractive man, even if it's only for one night. Women are able to use their body and the beauty as a commodity. This is not patriarchy, this is not cultural indoctrination or whatever you may read in your neo-Marxist school of propaganda, but it's just the fact that; women are always guaranteed a penis, but a man is not always guaranteed a vagina and the answer is not some complicated neurophilosophical conspiracy of class oppression.
